Modern day BMW's have an incline assist feature, where when you let the brake off on a hill, it keeps the brakes on until you start moving forward. It's actually really great, and just removes a shitty part of driving standard.
Great. Instead of the steering wheel from a Chevy Cobalt, it now has the one from the Chevy Sonic. At least it doesn't look like a JC Whitney catalogue puked on it, a la the C6 ZR1.
Having previously owned vettes, it just has to not rattle. My C5 was pretty rattle-free, but my C4 was awful. You'd hit a bump and it sounded like somebody slammed a tool chest against a wall.
EmuEmergency@reddit
So I guess the C7 doesn't believe in handbrakes anymore?
SirDigbyChknCaesar@reddit
Hm, there's a dead-pedal on the left of the footwell, so maybe an electric parking brake?
deleted_by_reddit@reddit
Yes. How's that going to work when you're stuck waiting on a ramp and don't want to roll back.

I thought that was a feature on most new manual cars. I remember watching some video about a 2005 Dacia or something with that feature.
xpingux@reddit
Was it the Sandero?! : D
mgearliosus@reddit
Sadly no, it was an SUV/Crossover. It was some video where it when up a 30cm dirt mound.

Duster?
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
Great news!
It's the new Dacia Sandero!

And the gauges from an Opel Insignia.
airbrat@reddit
Toyota Supra.
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
Nah, Peugeot 3008.
hendeeze@reddit
Reminds me of a Supra interior. It's too bad the steering wheel went back to ugly. Awesome car nonetheless though
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
It reminds me of a Peugeot 3008 instead.
Why a Corvette's interior should look like a generic SUV?
ascii42@reddit
Well, it no longer has the same steering wheel as my Malibu.
Design wise, I liked the C6, but the C7 looks to have much better quality.
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
But it has the same gauges as your Opel Insignia.
How?
Aldairion@reddit
The C7's interior looks like a modern take on the C4's interior, and I think it looks pretty good especially in that caramel brown.
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
I thought that it was the Citroën C4.
20MPH@reddit
Look, this interior doesn't have to be awesome. It just has to not suck.
Mission accomplished.

20MPH@reddit
Yeah C4s were pretty bad. The C5s I have been in had the rattles as well. So far, the C6s I've experienced have not been too bad with the rattles.
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
I keep mistaking those people for talking about a Citroën instead of a Corvette.
Imaginary_Act_3956@reddit
The C7 looks like a Peugeot 3008.
