Help on 11700k Upgrade Path

Hi,
I recently purchased Battlefield 6 and have been enjoying it. However, it has highlighted the need for me to upgrade my CPU. I aim to run the game on Ultra settings at 1440p without any stuttering. Currently, I can achieve this, but I experience occasional stutters, especially when streaming video on my second monitor or streaming in discord. I suspect my CPU is overloaded, as it reaches 68 degrees at 100% load, which suggests an upgrade is necessary.
My current setup includes an 11700k overclocked to 4.6GHz, 32 GB DDR4 3200, and a 6950xt. Could you advise on the most cost-effective way to upgrade my system to meet my requirements?

The temperature is not that indicative of you needing an upgrade your CPU usage is however.
So you will have to decide what you're going to do now.
I would recommend doing a full platform upgrade (motherboards+CPU+ram+CPU cooler) to AM5
Something like this is considered the current "meta" and will pair quite well with you GPU.

Thank you! I’ve been out of the game for a while. I wasn’t sure if I another issue because I felt like my CPU wasn’t running hot for how long it was running at 100% usage.

depends on your budget and what your goal is
you could get a 9700x or a 9800x3d if you have the budget and want the best of the best
the mobo and ram is more clear cut: b850 mobo with 2x16 gb 6000 mhz ram

Only reaching 68 degrees at 100% load seems to be pretty low. What clock speeds is it hitting? Do you have a garbage mobo that's throttling it?
