So I'm looking at building a pc. I'd love to be playing 1080p games, no need for 4k for me. I'd love to be under 1k, honestly 6-800 is my preference, but I understand that that's not always possible (especially when shopping from specifically amazon). This is where I'm at thus far.
Looking at it, it will obviously play the games I want to, probably with very little actual effort (stuff like helldivers 2, warzone, some random indie games), but is it optimized? Is there stuff I can swap and still be able to play those games in high settings while saving some money?
I'm more than willing to bite the bullet and pay the price listed, but I'd love to save some money if I can.

The UD90 uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. Get a better drive with TLC flash like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3, WD Blue SN5000, TeamGroup MP44L/G50, Patriot P400 Lite, or Klevv CRAS C910.

Suggestions that get you down to $1000 while still keeping essentially the same performance and using only Amazon as a retailer. * CPU: The 7600X provides almost the same performance for a good amount less. * CU Cooler: Air cooler is plenty for the CPU and far less expensive. * Memory: Less expensive same spec RAM. * Case: Far less expensive case that with the far less expensive added 3-pack of fans will provide plenty of airflow. * Power Supply: Less expensive better quality 850w ATX 3.1 unit - far more than needed for the system, but a good value and provides plenty of headroom for upgrades.

Probs go cl30 even if more expensive because without the x3d cache, you lose quite a bit of performance

It's only about a 2-4% decrease in performance from 6000mhz CL30 to 6000mhz CL40 based on this Hardware Unboxed video on RAM scaling, and that's using a 4090 at 1080p that is shifting performance load heavily to the CPU and RAM. With a 9060 XT, that performance difference they're measuring is likely much smaller. So if you're getting 100 fps with CL40, you'll see maybe 102 - 104 fps with CL30 - that's essentially unnoticeable.
Since the cost increase is pretty large for CL30 (from Amazon), I'd say the increase in cost is not worth the tiny difference in performance.

Depends on which game as shown in the Zen 4 scaling video. The change from cl40 to cl30 can be over 10% in some instances and OP seems to be playing some CPU-bound games like Warzone which may like the tighter timings especially if OP isn't playing on lower graphical settings for a high refresh rate monitor which seems likely. It's actually only 8$ more according to pcpp for cl30 6000mhz which kind of makes it a no-brainer considering the gains can be huge in some scenarios op may engage in.

It seems fine, but you don't need a liquid cooler at all. A Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 will do just fine and save you some money.
You can also switch out the case fans for a cheaper option, as well as downgrade the motherboard (if you don't need the wifi on it).
Perhaps that could net you a upgrade in CPU to 9700x or the GPU to a 9070 (non-XT).
