Considering buying an RX 9070 XT

Hey fellas. I recently bought a PC and had decided to buy an RTX 5060ti for the GPU. For the most part, it’s decent. But for some reason Nvidia decided to get a hammer and destroy the drivers because games like Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Lost Judgment simply do not render properly on 50 series cards. I’m also sick of the AI garbage they’re pumping in.
In conclusion, I’m considering an RX 9070 XT because I don’t like where Nvidia is heading.

May I ask what do you mean with destroying driver?
What happen to Like a dragon and Lost Judgement?

Nvidia has recently been focusing exclusively on AI in their cards and drivers. Which has taken away focus on actually making the 50 series compatible with games like Like a Dragon where the shadows and lighting completely break

I got the wife one on launch day. That card is a damn beast.
Enjoy the card!

Just do it! There is no reason not to get it if you want it and can afford. Great card for the price, on par with 5070ti mostly (except heavy ray tracing games). Upscaling is very good (nvidia’s still a tiny bit better).

You understand that AMD is trying to pump AI as well but are technologically behind at it?

RX 9070 XT is (depending on your domestic prices if course) really good value. If you don't need the Nvidia feature set, go for it. Performance wise it's a huge improvement from the 5060 Ti.

if you find a good deal sure, it’s more powerful than the 5060Ti. AMD is also heading towards full AI use. they are already using AI upscaling in fsr4. there is the upcoming Fsr redstone which will feature AI frame generation

If you can afford it, sure

I can. And I might just sell my old 5060ti. It’s been hardly used, only about a month of use

Go for it, my guy
It's a huge leap from 5060 Ti
