Scrap of jib and a broad reach. S2 9.2A

Looks like a nice ride! I’ve always wanted to sail a 9.2a — heard they’re very fun.

I love it. Definitely not as fast as the other S2 phrf killers, points well very seaworthy. I took out the wheel and put in the tiller, and that's also been a huge improvement

I feel like most boats under 35 ft are better off with tillers, especially more modern ones with big, flat sterns where space really isn't that much of a concern.

I wish we were going with the wind instead of against it. We were moving our boat to the marina for hauling for the winter. We were heading straight in to the wind with 6 foot waves hitting our bow and an opposing current and making little progress. We had steady 20-25 knot winds with 35 knot gusts. I left early to avoid the storm, but it came several hours earlier than expected.

Missed the boat show this year. Was on Chesapeake Bay over the summer. The A-10s out of Norfolk love to dip down and do a fly by.

That looks fun!

Storm weather is okay if the wind is with you. When it's against you, well that's another matter.

Fair winds!
