Gay Spanish councilor allegedly assaulted by kebab shop staff

The business owner has accused the councilor of starting the altercation, alleging that he acted aggressively, shouted racial abuse at the staff and threw a stool at the window.

It has been alleged that Councilor Sáez, who is a member of the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party), that governs Spain, has a long history of using racial slurs on his social media channels.

Sounds like a standup guy.

Why is a local fight at a restaurant significant enough to be in a geopolitics sub? Is it because it was at a Kebab shop and can be used?

The report has been widely shared on social media where right-wing groups have claimed it’s an example of the effects of the PSOE’s pro-immigration policies coming back to cause them harm.

Allegedly they had some beef about the councilor insulting the owners and they assaulted him. I don't know who started it first.

OK.... I went through that and there was a bit to take on. Ordered food at the kebab place, wanted to use bathroom , told bathroom was undergoing maintenance. Said female staff member made fun of him, spiraled out of control from there. The thing that caught my attention was him saying he was lucky no one at the kebab restaurant had a knife otherwise he might have been seriously hurt .... WTF?
