Upgrading my old build, need help choosing cpu.

I have a MSI B450 pro vdh, ryzen 5 2600, gtx 1660.
Planning on getting a 4070, but stumped for the cpu. After researching, I think ryzen 7 5800X3D because I saw so much gaming gain (although I'm not so much into gaming these days, I play casually and mostly single player) but now I see some stuff like:
- No cooler comes with it so I need to do some setup like liquid cooling or something (I don't want to deal with that).
- Undervolting?
So I was thinking of going lower but found that I would go all the way down to 5600.
So can you guys tell me what to get? I dont really care about budget so much but I don't want to deal with fan noise, stuff overheating, getting liquid cooling, maybe if It's just getting a special fan for it I wouldn't mind, how to undervolt abd stuff to save on my electric bill and cpu lifespan.
Or maybe the 5600 is really ok and not that bad as im making it. Anyways.
I'm not so technical so please, I would appreciate your help.

If you’re not into gaming, do you think you would want to spend the extra on the 5800x3d or no?

It's not that, it's just that I don't game too much anymore but when I do I would like some nice graphics with good fps.
I saw a comparison between 5 5600x, 7 5700x, and 7 5800X3D.
I was kinda leaning to the 5700x but the gains in 5800x3d looked way better to miss on.
But actually might just go for 5700x.
I just got off the phone with a store nearby and they said that the x3d would be too much for the motherboard, what do you think?

You can still use an air cooler with the X3D if you wanted to.

The stock one that came with my 2600? Would that be ok or will it make it bad for performance, high temp, loud noise?

An air tower cooler with be more than sufficient. And they're cheap, like a thermal right assassin x120

It should but a better one won't cost a lot,
