Workstation for architecture : I7 + RTX 5060Ti or Ryzen9 + RX 9070

hello, im building a workstation for architecture tasks and 3se softwares: Lumion, 3Ds max etc.. I wanted originally the I7-14700KF + RTX 5070 combo, but the rtx is not available (neither was 4070), only 5060ti 12go. They suggested instead : Ryzen 9 7900 + RX 9070 16go.
I donโt know which one to choose and iโm super pressed to pick one today or tmw, so pleaaaase i would appreciate your help !!

For workstations, 5060 Ti 16gb
It will do pretty much what you want it to, though you should prioritize 16gb version, not 8gb
Nvidia pretty much has a chokehold on 3D rendering software at the current time
(9070 is good in gaming, but falls behind quite significantly if you're doing professional work)

Thanks a lot ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ should i switch to i7 14700kf or stick with ryzen 9? For revit archicad etc fluidity

Stick with ryzen cpu
It consumes a lot less electricity, and you can upgrade further down the line to a better cpu if you choose to
Performance is about on par (if a tiny bit behind) 14700KF in your programs

14700KFย
The two are similar in performance, but the programs you use tend to prefer higher clock speed, which 14700KF wins a bit in this one
DO NOTE: This is if you pretty much never upgrade, since the motherboard platform for 14700KF is pretty much dead (it will not have new compatible cpus for you to upgrade to)
Also, absolutely update motherboard BIOS to newest as soon as you have the pc - Read up on "intel 14th gen degradation issue"

Lumion is mostly optimised for nvidia. you should wait for at least an rtx 5070 to come back in stock
