How are these Chinese cars like Jac or Chery ? I’ve never heard of them but the new ones are cheaper than second hand Toyotas and Nissans

Anyway, the platform that Chery (the Chinese brand) currently uses in their cars is the T1X, which originated from Jaguar Land Rover and is an updated version of the Ford EUCD platform from the Ford Mondeo.
