According to this Facebook post the shot is of a 727 arriving at Miami International taken in the mid 1980s by a production studio named Tel-Air which provided a lot of promotion short videos to Miami in the 80s.
That post links to a YouTube video which shows the iconic shot around the 2:00 mark. It appears the Golden Girls actually only used the first few seconds of the shot as the YouTube video shows the plane traveling all the way across the frame.
It appears TEL-AIR Studios is still in business and provides media content development. They may have more information on where/how/when they got the original shot.

It’s a 727, and given the time frame I’m going to say it was Eastern Airlines (the dominant NE to Fla carrier, especially for retirees)
