So basically I was looking for bikes on Alibaba for cheap bc I only had 1200 to spend and I came across this company who had bikes that looked the exact same to the strike shadows which were 2000 and these bikes were 685. I inquired on them and they saud they coul not sell me them due to "exclusive agents for this model in USA\~ Can you consider other models?" this clearly shows that they are partners. Essentialy yozma and strike are ripping ya'll off bro ts is crazy pls share to people. On alibaba search up "60V peak 3500W OEM E Bike High Speed Racing Electric Motorcycle Motorbike Dirt Bike Electric Off Road Motorcycles". This is the supplier. Bless y'all pls share cuz people need to know.

That’s not news, it’s called capitalism.

I can see the OfferUp ad now: "I'll pay YOU $100 to take my "ebike" off my hands."

That's really not a surprise. Worked for Bushnell in the 90s and they had just bought the Bolle and Serengeti lines of sunglasses. We'd be creating boxes and stickering them for retailers like Sunglass Hut and Walmart, $60 to $120 per pair. How much were we buying them from the factory? $2 to $5 a pair, shit you not.

Alibaba sells on a large scale, like an entire shipping container. They do not handle any costs for tariffs (taxes on imported goods) which can raise the cost substantially, perhaps double, depending how what day of the week it is.
They do not include any shipping from China, that's up to you.
The Strike Shadow seller is also offering free shipping to get the bike to you. It is of course, not free, it's just folded into the cost of the bike.
I'm not saying that the price for the Strike Shadow is "fair", but I don't think comparing an "to your door" price to a "wholesaler in China" price is a good comparison.

wow, you discovered how OEM companies work.
Ger junk made in China by the thousands, buy it cheap, slap your logo on it and sell for profit.
All the direct to consumer brand on the cheaper end of the market work like that. That's also why all the bikes look almost the same
