We are all complicit. I have zero reason to believe that any of these genocidal terrorists in Israel will be tried for their war crimes and crimes against humanity. I mean, for god’s sake, we have a fucking living breathing war criminal in Tony Blair linked to the continued subjugation of the Palestinians. It truly is a fucked up world we’re living in.
Hanzel_G@reddit
I have zero reason to believe you can prove genocidal intent....
BlessadurKarl@reddit
Ooof that backfired for you didn’t it?
I really do wonder what the Israeli media has been feeding you?
Or do you, just like the settlers believe you are better than the Palestinians and deserve their land because some delusional man 2000 years ago wrote a book and said some people deserve this land? I genuinely do not understand how you lot hide behind religion when we know so much about mental disorders as we do.
Hanzel_G@reddit
What the downvotes?
BlessadurKarl@reddit
Lmfao are you really going to ignore all the proof posted?
Also please answer my question, do you like the settlers think you are better than the Palestinians and that you deserve their land?
Hanzel_G@reddit
No.
No.
What ever is agreed through negotiations is fine by me....
Now answer me, are you prejudice against me just because I rock the star of David in my flag?
BlessadurKarl@reddit
No, I’m prejudice against you because you’re openly defending a genocide.
Hanzel_G@reddit
Yeah you're prejudice.... I'm against genocide...
But I'm pro truth....
Now do you have evidences for intent of genocide or you're all about racism?
2009miles@reddit
Multiple quotes posted above, or this collection of 500+ Instances of Israeli Incitement to Genocide.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
““A complete siege on Gaza. No water, no electricity, no food. Like in Beirut 1982. Water for the south of the Gaza Strip - only in exchange for the return of the kidnapped children and women.””
Most of them are pretty reasonable? Well give your citizens what they need if you return ours. Unless you think kidnapping people is ok.
2009miles@reddit
That is one of the many many quotes there, even if you don't consider it as evidence of a genocide it is at the very least an obvious breach of the Geneva Convention that Israel is a signatory of.
Hanzel_G@reddit
meu amigo, stop! You're making a fool of yourself...
2009miles@reddit
Buddy, do you own any mirrors?
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Buddy, you’re wrong. The intent in the comments posted is mainly Israel’s intent to see its citizens returned and the monsters responsible for 10/7 destroyed. There’s maybe 1-2 quotes out of the 5000 that could be proved as intent, that is if they were public sentiments shared by more than one person, who’s not the pm and is a minority leader of a coalition democracy.
2009miles@reddit
One or two is enough, but there are many more than that.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Not at all when they’re made by 1/1000th of the government
2009miles@reddit
They voted for this government in 2022, they made the decisions in the name of the people who voted for them. The Knesset members represent their people.
Hanzel_G@reddit
What are you implying there??
2009miles@reddit
What do you think i'm implying?
Hanzel_G@reddit
That you blame the Israeli people for the actions of their government.
2009miles@reddit
Who am i supposed to blame beside the people and the government that represents them? Especially taking into account that in the past, when a more moderate government was in power, the Israeli people literally assassinated their own PM?
They voted for those in power, to enact the policies that they support.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Lmao I’m gonna blame your ancestors for killing my ancestors in the inquisition then. You’re a genocider too. The Knesset votes on everything, it’s a democracy. There’s plenty of people who voted to go to war who didn’t make inflammatory remarks, there’s plenty who have voted to go to war and also support Palestinian causes. You’re generalizing too much.
2009miles@reddit
I'm talking about a democratic vote in an election that took place less than 3 years ago and you bring up an event that took place round about 500 years ago during a monarchy. If you find those two to be comparable in any way then excuse me as i myself lmao to that.
And they are supposed to represent the people who voted for them, which is exactly what they are doing.
I'm sure Palestinians sleep much better at night knowing people who purport to support their causes voted for their land to be flattened and their people to be decimated. At the same time you have people in the same Knesset who openly talk about driving Palestinians out and killing them, they were also elected.
Israelis love to act like children who can never and should never be held accountable for anything that is done by them or their government, while at the same time holding others accountable for things they have no involvement in via things like "pricetag attacks". Time to grow up, as a whole.
This type of argument and attempted washing of hands coming from the same crowd who blame the people of Gaza for electing Hamas 20 years ago when about half the current population wasn't even alive is hilarious.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
You should really read how Israeli government works. The people don’t vote for every single minister 1 by 1. They vote for a party who then decides on representation. There are Christian parties, Arab parties, Zionist parties, anti Zionist parties, Palestinian parties etc.
2009miles@reddit
I know how it works, it's relatively similar to my country's system, however that doesn't mean that the Israeli people somehow have no blame over the people they vote in. They vote knowing ahead of time who the PM is going to be and having a good idea of the cabinet or ministers he's going to assemble to perform the measures that he also informed the public about ahead of time.
There is no secret either about Netanyahu's political leanings and who he had to go along with to remain in power in the latest round, the people chose who they chose knowingly.
They can't now pretend that the actions being taken by the government aren't in their behest.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
No they don’t, it’s all blind. You clearly don’t know anything. All of Israel is a single constituency. You’re selecting parties and their internal lists dictate which members take up seats. 4 elections in 5 years brought about a 4 seat advantage for Likud and its allies.
2009miles@reddit
My dude, it doesn't matter if he wins with the minimum possible margin, he still represents the Israeli people.
His actions are that of the state, which is exactly what he was elected to do.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Of course it matters he’s not the popular choice, your posing the actions of his government as reflective of the citizens who elected him.
2009miles@reddit
Any government represents their country and their people, like it or not. If the Israelis are so unhappy with Netanyahu and his policies they would get him out.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Again, you don’t understand Israeli politics
2009miles@reddit
Do you think Hamas represents the Palestinians?
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Do you always ask the same trap questions off a script? Yes and no. There were plenty of normal people cheering them on October 7th, beating hostages with sticks, spitting on their corpses etc.
Let’s ask you a better question, why is the PA in power in the West Bank? Why are the elections cancelled? It has to do with the popularity of Hamas.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
“IDF uses Palestenian bodies for skin bank, snatching bodies from the morgue and the graveyard of Al-Shifa Hospital relocating them to unknown places. This claim has been covered by EuroNews, Anatolian Agency and others. This practice is not a precedent among Israeli soldiers and has been highlighted ever since 2009, as explained in the sources.”
Lmao that’s your source?

They literally add the source in the quote you pasted there.

As I've said, qoutes alone aren't enough for proof of the intent to genocide...
Try harder...
2009miles@reddit
Quotes from leaders of your government showing clear intent to wipe out a population aren't enough? What is?
Hanzel_G@reddit
You've proven yourself to be uneducated on the topic...
Go and read:
Bosnia Herzegovina vs Serbia and Montenegro
Croatia vs Serbia and Montenegro
Might just learn something....
You're now forbidden of using the term genocide in connection to gaza....
2009miles@reddit
Uneducated according to your brainwashed view of the world. I'd be willing to bet i know more about the history and context of the region than the average Israeli.
"Go read the case law we study in Israel for some reason, definitely not because we're doing some fucked up shit and constantly need to defend ourselves about it"
For the past two years there has been a genocide, conducted by the state of Israel, in Gaza.
BlessadurKarl@reddit
“The only obvious result will be Gazans choosing to emigrate outside of the Strip,” Netanyahu continued. “But our main problem is finding countries to take them in.” Netanyahu was quoted saying in May 2025 confirmed by The Times of Israel and the Jerusalem post.
The leaked audio of Israeli Major General Aharon Haliva saying “For every person killed on Oct 7, 50 Palestinians must die” and also “the FACT that 50.000 have already been KILLED in Gaza is crucial for future generations.”
According to almost all genocide experts this is genocide per the legal definition under the genocide convention.
“Acts committed with specific intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group.”
Here are a few Jewish and Israeli experts on the subject of genocide that do not agree with you that this is not a genocide.
Academic experts: Martin Shaw (Who literally wrote the book “What is genocide”). Melanie O’Brien (who is the president of the international association of genocide scholars). Dirk Moses (who is the senior editor of the journal of genocide research). Iva Vukušić. William Schabas.
There are also the Israeli genocide experts, the Israeli historians of the holocaust who say this is a genocide: Professors: Omer Bartov. Amos Goldberg. Daniel Blatman. Raz Segal. Lee Mordechai. Dr. Shmuel Lederman. ( who was at first opposed but now says “what Israel is doing in Gaza is genocidal in every sense”)
Then there are the human rights groups who say Gaza is a genocide: Amnesty International. Human rights watch.
Top legal clinics of top US universities (Boston university of law, Cornell law school and Yale law school)
Multiple U.N. Experts all say it’s a genocide.
And about a 145 countries around the world.
You’re the type of person to look at a rape and say “it’s not rape, it’s sex!” War, like sex, has two participants. Genocide, like rape, has one, more powerful side, torturing the other out of sheer cruelty and desire for dominance. If you call this a war, then no woman nor child is safe around you.
You keep calling everyone racist when it has literally nothing to do with that. We just are against oppression, segregation, genocide and forcing famine.
Hanzel_G@reddit
Yeah already debanked that one. At max eludes ti intent of ethnic cleansing which isn't genocide according to icl, demonstrated in the Croatia vs Serbia and Montenegro case.... And no ethnic cleansing is going to happened according to the recent peace plan, second point, gaza will be rebuilt for the people of gaza... A big nothing burger...
Please link me the article....
Appeal to authority. Give me legal framework claims....
No actually I'm not.... But your prejudice against star of David enjoyers is well established.
Go educate yourself.....
Wow that's awesome! Please share pics from your Sudan march, Yemen march Tibet march, Syria march Congo March and all the rest of them you're against! ;)

BlessadurKarl@reddit
https://www.ecchr.eu/fileadmin/Q_As/ECCHR_Q_A__Gaza_and_Genocide_20241210.pdf You say I know nothing about international law and that’s why I can’t call it a genocide when all respected human rights lawyers and experts say it is. You just ignore that fact and the fact that literal genocide scholars say it’s a genocide.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/aug/17/israeli-general-aharon-haliva-palestinians-7-october-gaza? I misremembered the quote and he said 50K not 60K but you can just listen to the audio your self.
NoHandBananaNo@reddit
Gottem.
redelastic@reddit
You still don't get that people are appalled by those who starve and kill children by the thousand, do you?
Maybe it's a reflection of your mindset or upbringing that you simply cannot compute this on a simple human level.
Hanzel_G@reddit
I'm appalled by it as well.... But for some reason you assume the opposite .. I wonder why...
Please let's hear it... What are you assuming?
So far you've got it all wrong...
redelastic@reddit
No, you're not, you don't care a jot for Palestinian life.
If you cared, you wouldn't be defending Israel's crimes against humanity.
Hanzel_G@reddit
Well you've proven already that you know nothing about me so no need to ever take you seriously hence onwards....
As far as I know you've always been a joke...
When have I said anything like that?
2009miles@reddit
"I have zero reason to believe you can prove genocidal intent...."
Hanzel_G@reddit
Look buddy... English isn't my main language as well but.... come on!
I'm making a legal claim here...
Never said anything like Israel never committed war crimes or anything like that...
And the genocide claim is a lie which could easily be disproven acording the "highest principle of evidence" and "only reasonable inference to be drawn" principle, established by the Croatia vs Serbia ICJ ruling,
If you look at Israel conduct of war. all of it, not just the cherry picking, you and the like of you tend to do you'll see:
Early warning before strikes in order to minimize casualties and civilian harm,
Designation of safer civilian zone in order to minimize casualties and civilian harm,
Facilitation of aid entry in order to minimize casualties and civilian harm,
And if you take into account the levels of destruction and the amount of air strikes taken, contrasted with the relatively low number of casualties, you get the picture of separation between civilians and combatants...
The only reasonable inference to be drawn here is not of a genocide.....
2009miles@reddit
Can't wait to see it tested in court.
Why would you warn if you were striking terrorists, won't they simply be able to run away?
Outside of which civilians are automatically considered combatants and shot on sight, not to mention the dozens of times they get hit in those designated safe zones.
You literally block everyone except an Israeli organization from taking aid in and that organization only lets a sample size in compared to what is needed, blocking things like baby formula from going in at all, why is that?
We don't even know the number of casualties yet, the 60.000+ number is an estimate, hopefully we can get actual numbers after Israel is out of Gaza. And wiping most civilian infrastructure isn't exactly a glaring example of great conduct by Israel.
It is a genocide.
Hanzel_G@reddit
You've encouraged said terrorists not to wear uniforms and to hide \ make dual use of civilian infrastructure, so the IHL demands early warnings...
"The duty to provide early warnings is described in IHL in Article 57 (2) (c) of the First Additional Protocol, which reads that “effective advance warning shall be given of attacks which may affect the civilian population, unless circumstances do not permit.”
I've said safer zones. You've also encouraged said terrorists to hide in said safer zones.... Yet it shows an attempt to distinguish between combatants to civilians and the lack of genocide intent... If you'd like to murder them all why give them early warning?
We don't have 2.2 million dead due to starvation, right? They're getting aid. If Israel had an intent to genocide, why feed them?
This is the latest snapshot.....
What is your data?
Could go at it in a different angle...
See this article claiming that more than 100,000 tons of bombs dropped on gaza...
In your opinion, if Israel had an intent to genocide, how many people should one bomb kill?
If the intent is to murder everyone, why warn them ahead of strikes?
If the intent is to murder everyone, why create safer zones to be out of harm's way?
If the intent is to murder everyone, why supply them with food?
2009miles@reddit
I'm sorry, you must be mistaking me for someone else. When did i do that?
What about this one? https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/ihl-treaties/gciv-1949/article-33
Again, when did i do that?
Attempting to utilize the fact you will shoot at anyone, including children, who enter a certain zone because they are then labeled as combatants as proof of you not committing genocide is laughable.
Plausible deniability, to be utilized by people like you and your government to justify incredibly destructive action against civilian populations.
"If they're not all dead then it means they are getting enough help". Baffling.
You are sending in aid because if you didn't then you'd be obliged to let other humanitarian organizations to do so and they'd send quite a lot more aid in. It's a transparent tactic, take control of the aid and limit it, including completely cutting out or limiting to an extreme degree basic things like anesthetics, pain medication and baby formula.
How would i have data on deaths that i am specifically saying haven't been accounted for yet?
There are entire areas, including hospitals, that the Gaza Health Ministry has not had the possibility of conducting body counts in, not to mention the dead people under the tonnes of rubble that is everywhere. The numbers stated by the Health Ministry is mostly people they can name and those whose medical history they have access to, so that there is no argument to be made about the figures being inflated. Hopefully we'll have a full count soon.
What a ridiculous argument. Obviously they could have killed more, does that somehow discount the deaths that have occured?
The intent is to destroy the capacity for these people to remain in Gaza, killing is only a tool used by Israel to eventually try to seize the land.
Once again, they've literally killed people in those zones, bombing refugee camps in areas they declared as safe and recommended populations to evacuate to.
Read above.

Stop being dumb on the internet when you have internet.
Thormeaxozarliplon@reddit
The Internet has just become a swamp.
90% of those quotes are just private individuals not in government. Such feels are natural after such a terror attack, even if the statements are deplorable. If you go back to 2001 there were tons of statements in the media about the US just nuking the middle east, but that didn't happen. The infamous "human animals" quote from th defense minister refers only to Hamas, not all Palestinians. You are just attempting to distort reality with a few bad quotes, many distorted or taken out of context.
Meanwhile in reality the IDF has taken clear measures to reduce civilian harm as much as possible. They have issued evacuation orders. The propagandists try to distort the act of warning civilians to flee planned combat areas as "forced displacement." The IDF has taken over aid distribution. COGAT has always tracked the amount of food and goods going into Gaza and it has always been enough. No one in Gaza should be hungry, but it is a war zone ruled by terrorists. You can see tons of videos on the Internet of Hamas stealing aid trucks and Palestinians complaining about the "prices" they have to pay Hamas for free aid flour. The IDF attempted to establish humanitarian and safety zones which PIJ/Hamas refused to honor and used to store weapons and launch rockets at civilians in Israel. Those things require response.
Hamas, the PA, and PLO have made it clear throughout history their only aim is to kill civilians. The IDFs actions clearly show they are trying to reduce civilian harm.
Everything Hamas has done has been intentionally being war and suffering to Palestinians.

They are very clear about it and have vile things, like there is no such thing as a Palestinian child, just a future terrorist, and they have bragged about all the money they will make in the "real estate bonanza" that will be Gaza.
These are ministers high up in Israel's government who said these things.
It's beyond pathetic now to try and pretend that there was no genocidal intent.

Oh God, I didn’t know about the organ harvesting. I just read the linked article. Flaying the skin and corneas from dead “enemies” (and their own dead, all without permission). How deep can this depravity go?
2009miles@reddit
I wonder what other practices like this or worse they have been doing for years and will not come out until decades from now.
GR1ZZLYBEARZ@reddit
Your article still doesn’t prove the claims. Forensic pathology is a lot different than organ harvesting. They said it happened in 2017 not the 1990’s
2009miles@reddit
"Israel has admitted that in the 1990s, its forensic pathologists harvested organs from dead bodies, including Palestinians, without permission of their families."
"The Channel 2 report said that in the 1990s, forensic specialists at Abu Kabir harvested skin, corneas, heart valves and bones from the bodies of Israeli soldiers, Israeli citizens, Palestinians and foreign workers, often without permission from relatives."
This is just in this article, i provided 5 other sources. Your inability to read doesn't dissolve the contents of the news articles away.
Where exactly did you get 2017 from?

Hanzel_G@reddit
OMFG dude!
We're talking about genocide intent, that's a term in international law.
International law is the framework of our discussion...
Can't remember if you claimed there to be one.... But if someone claims something he should back it up... Not to appeal to authority... If any the icj is the authority and they haven't claimed genocide...
That's what demonstrates and refine the discussion... And if the discussion is in international law, knowing the cases is a must...

The ICJ makes a clear distinction between ethnic cleansing and genocide, between destruction of a group and between a removal of a group.
"Neither the intent, as a matter of policy, to render an area “ethnically homogeneous”, nor the opera tions that may be carried out to implement such policy, can as such be designated as genocide: the intent that characterizes genocide is “to destroy, in whole or in part” a particular group, and deportation or dis placement of the members of a group, even if effected by force, is not necessarily equivalent to destruction of that group, nor is such destruc tion an automatic consequence of the displacement."
"clear distinction must be drawn between physical destruction and mere dissolution of a group. The expulsion of a group or part of a group does not in itself suffice for genocide.” (Stakic´, IT-97-24-T, Trial Chamber Judgment, 31 July 2003, para. 519.)"

Bosnia Herzegovina vs Serbia and Montenegro 2007
This article alone is not enough to conclude the intent to genocide...
PartySr@reddit
Sure. If we ignore this, the statements from the other government members, parliament members, army members, army actions in Gaza, the starvation, the total destruction of the infrastructure, the bombing on every hospital in the country, the killing for fun, all the videos posted by the army where they were mocking the civilians in Gaza, the total annihilation of the animals, the farm land, and the refusal to negotiate, then sure, this is not a genocide.
Hanzel_G@reddit
Appeal to authority.... Don't care if they're the masters of the universe... I check every claim on it's own....
Prewar there were 36 hospitals in Gaza, Prove that ALL were BOMBED.
According to IPC's own data for a stage 5 famine in Gaza government, there should have been more than 9000 deaths due to starvation only.... WHERE ARE THEY?
90% of the strip is destroyed ye only 0.03% of the pop killed.... Either bad aim or distinction between civilians and combatants. What say you?
War suck, next...
I'm against that, but anecdotal.
Irrelevant to genocide...
Just declared peace... So... nope.....
After debanking every word you've said.... yeah... You're correct.
Go and learn about the ICJ case of genocide and educate yourself.....
PartySr@reddit
No to everything, the creature thinks it debunked everything. Classic Nazi behavior.
I had no idea that there were 200.000.000 Palestinians in Gaza.
Hanzel_G@reddit
Thanks for the corrections.

Now go and respond to my points as I've responded to yours...
Start by proving that ALL 36 hospitals were BOMBED.
Prove starvation.
Prove intent to genocide...
Don't run away....
PartySr@reddit
Have you provided any data about your claims? Lmao.
And what if they didn't bombed all hospitals.. There are like 8 still working, and even those are barely functioning. I never said destroyed.
Famine was declared in Gaza. What is your data that says otherwise? The fact that 9000 didn't die? Only because the international community forced Israel to allow UN to send more aid? Yeah, that's a great claim on your part, Nazi.
I will wait on your data, otherwise, you have no arguments, other than the fact that you are a freaking Nazi who is ignorant to the suffering of the Palestinians that you and your trash country have caused.
Hanzel_G@reddit
THAN YOU'VE LIED....
Why are you lying?
PartySr@reddit
Why are you?
Hanzel_G@reddit
Don't deflect. You've said they're ALL destroyed. Why? I've made a calculus mistake, you've said all. You say sorry I lied and we'll carry on..
PartySr@reddit
I said bombed, not destroyed. Then again, I have yet to meet one Israeli who knows how to read.
Then again, this is Israeli education system.
Hanzel_G@reddit
Correct, and then you've admitted that you lied... Now say sorry and I'll carry on with the rest of your claims...
PartySr@reddit
No, not really. I won't retract my statement because you are lying constantly.
You lied that your leaders statements don't count as intent, or that there was no famine in Gaza, or that the healthcare system wasn't targeted intentionally, or that your army didn't target civilians intentionally. or that only 0.03% of the population have been killed.
And I have feeling that you are also contesting the fact that 90% of the housing buildings have been destroyed? If so, you also have to provide proof for that too.

I'm surprised that the trashes from Timesofisrael have actually published one article about the suffering of a child from Gaza. I thought they are busy publishing articles about how they are the perpetual victims.
5 months without food have caused irreparable damage to the bodies of so many, all of this caused by a trash country filled with Nazis who don't even want to understand the damage they caused.
SpontaneousFlame@reddit
It is very important for some people to stress that when they commit genocide then they are the victims, not the dead brown people they killed.

flossdaily@reddit
As always: It's a kid with comorbidities (pre-existing and confounding conditions).
It's really sad that a kid has died. Being in a warzone doesn't help.
But, using her death from other causes to accuse Israel of creating a famine is just not right.
HourEast5496@reddit
You're not sad you're just being fake for the sake of justifying the genocide of Palestinians. Typical of Znazis.
Your ancestors said, back in the days, its not holocaust, its just medically assisted suicide program, but people are using that to accuse Nazis.
waiver@reddit
It's literal "Anna Frank wasn't killed by the Nazis, she died of typhus" genocide apologia.
waiver@reddit
It's fucking celiac disease, people don't die of celiac disease when there is food available. What a sick ghoul.
flossdaily@reddit
She didn't die of celiacs. She died of an infection. Did you even read the article?
waiver@reddit
Weird that you complained when you failed to the read the most important part, and again, kids don't die of that when food is available.
flossdaily@reddit
That's definitely a possibility. But it's not supported by the evidence.
If malnutrition was rampant in gaza, we would see it in otherwise healthy kids.
Another possible explanation for this is that you've got a sick kid, and hospital spokespeople who understand exactly what their role is in public relations, and bringing about political pressure to end the war.
Why do you suppose it is that people will sit here and argue with me for hours and hours about this alleged famine, when all they'd have to do to shut me up and show me some actual verifiable pictures of otherwise healthy Palestinians who were emaciated from famine?
waiver@reddit
lol what evidence? Do you think celiac disease is a death sentence for kids anywhere even with food readily available? Do you think that kids that haven't been suffering from malnutrition aren't capable of fighting infections?
I mean, you can go an ask a pediatric doctor if kids with celiac disease routinely die from infections if you don't believe me.
flossdaily@reddit
More empty talk. Show me one picture of a crowd of otherwise healthy Palestinians who are emaciated from this two-year "famine."
And if you can't? Maybe it's time to admit that there was no famine?
waiver@reddit
I mean, you can go and google "emaciated Palestinians" and you will get enough material for your moments of intimacy.
civodar@reddit
“He didn’t die of aids, he died of pneumonia”
A healthy child in a wealthy developed country should not be a dying of a simple infection.
flossdaily@reddit
Sure... and starvation alone can also cause death.
So, how come you haven't been able to produce evidence of a child who didn't have congenital health problems, but who died from complications from starvation?
mnmkdc@reddit
Famines always work that way. Maybe you should sit these conversations out if you didn’t know this
flossdaily@reddit
No they don't. In actual famines, you wouldn't have a problem showing emaciated people who were otherwise healthy.
If there was a real famine, the IPC wouldn't have had to drop the threshold of underweight people from 30% to 15% in order to slap that label on Gaza.
If there was a real famine, we'd see it in the pictures coming out of the Gaza streets, and not cherry-picked photos of kids with cystic fibrosis.
mnmkdc@reddit
Famines do in fact hurt people with other conditions, children, and the elderly first. Have you just closed your eyes and plugged your ears through this? There’s a lot of those images.
Thresholds weren’t dropped for this. You fell for propaganda. They haven’t changed their standards since years before the war broke out.
This girl had celiac disease, not some life ending disease. I know you read the free press article, which barely qualifies as journalism, and now you think you know everything, but that article does not need to be taken seriously. One of the “preexisting conditions” was a kid had been hit by Israeli shelling and then starved to death. Another was likely just side effects from malnutrition.
flossdaily@reddit
But not exclusively.
After two years of an alleged famine, why don't the photos of people on the streets in Gaza look like every other famine we've ever seen?
Where are the emaciated adults? When Flotilla Greta wanted to show a photo of starving Palestinian adults, she shared a photo of one of the Israeli hostages. Why? Because that was the only photo of a starving adult in Gaza.
Where are the emaciated kids without other conditions? Come on.
This girl had an infection, which is a life-ending disease.
KaiBahamut@reddit
Oh, I see the issue. You're one of those guys who say typhus killed Anne Frank, not the Nazis. That explains it.
flossdaily@reddit
There's abundant evidence that Nazis killed plenty of otherwise healthy people.
There appears to be zero evidence that your alleged famine killed even one otherwise healthy person.
KaiBahamut@reddit
Yeah. It didn’t kill the healthy people the same way the Nazis didn’t kill Anne Frank. She just got sick with typhus- no healthy person died in the death camps. The starvation didn’t weaken their immune systems and make them succumb to disease. It was just bad luck and pre existing conditions that killed her and so many others.
flossdaily@reddit
Plenty of healthy people dead in the death camps.
KaiBahamut@reddit
No, see, they got sick and died. Therefore, not healthy. There is no context why they got sick- like malnutrition- they just weren’t healthy and died and it was no one’s fault.
mnmkdc@reddit
They’re mocking your abhorrent claim. Everyone knows people died in the death camps. You claimed this girl died of an infection when even the article says that the malnutrition weakening her immune system is what allowed the infection to kill her. You just don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.

Bruh gazans had a crazy high obesity rate prior to the war(59% for men and 71% for women a few years back) and now it’s hard to find anyone in pictures and videos who looks the slightest bit heavier.
It’s clear there’s a famine and you’d have to have your eyes closed to miss it.
civodar@reddit
The most vulnerable are always the first to die in a famine situation, but that doesn’t make their death ok. A child with allergies or celiac’s is just as worthy of food as a child without, a child with chronic diarrhea also deserves enough nutritional food as any other, a baby who’s mother is unable to breast feed is as entitled to formula as any baby born in the west.
Most of the starvation deaths in Gaza have been adults which really shows just how much the people of Gaza have been sacrificing to try to keep their babies alive and protect the most fragile citizens of Gaza, unfortunately the food and supplies just weren’t there. Hopefully all the people, government officials, and soldiers who fenced these people in and stopped the food from coming in will be forced to stand trial for their crimes against humanity.
flossdaily@reddit
The most vulnerable are always the first to die in any war zone, unfortunately.
But the accusation here is that there was a systematic and deliberate famine.
If that was the case, why can't anyone produce one single verified photo of a group of starving Palestinians?
Why is the only evidence of "famine" kids who have congenital diseases?
Technical-King-1412@reddit
Sky News neglects to mention the child suffered from coeliac disease.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-08-23/children-gaza-suffering-malnutrition-unable-to-get-help/105679244
I wonder why they glossed over this pertinent fact?
civodar@reddit
Coeliac disease is extremely common, it just means that she can’t eat food with gluten in it as her body cannot absorb it and it will make her sick and give her stomach pain and diarrhea, diarrhea will affect food absorption, so no wheat and stuff. Since the cause of the disease was found back in the 40s due to the Dutch famine(they realized that when there was no bread available and children were forced to rely on other food sources their condition immediately improved) children have not been dying of it.
Unfortunately as it’s so common and there is a huge food shortage they are unable to source enough food that these children can eat so a number of people have died on it. She needs to be eating things like fish and chicken which are not available to her. Even other grains and pulses can be contaminated if not served and stored correctly so she can’t go to soup kitchens and everything she eats needs to be prepared on a clean sanitized surface and needs to have been stored safely.
This shouldn’t be killing anyone and I’ve never heard of someone dying of it aside from in Gaza and during the Dutch famine. It’s essentially like an allergy that won’t kill you and will only give you diarrhea and stomach pain. It’s like being lactose intolerant, like technically you could call it a pre-existing condition, but it’d be crazy to say that someone starved to death because they were lactose intolerant, the issue would have been they didn’t have access to foods they can eat and a person with celiac’s can eat most things.
KaiBahamut@reddit
Is it really pertinent? In a famine, those with special nutritional needs will starve the worst. Or do you really want the Headline to be 'Israel starves special needs child to death'?
Technical-King-1412@reddit
Because famine definitionally affects all people, not just those who are medically fragile or with pre-existing conditions.
Her death is a tragedy. It never should have happened. It doesn't mean there is famine.
Khers@reddit
Here you go, I thought you might have missed the report.
russiankek@reddit
Even if all 440 people died from starvation, as claimed in the Qatari propaganda leaflet you've linked, it would mean there's no starvation in Gaza.
For comparison: during the German/Finnish siege of Leningrad, out of ~1.5 million who remained in the city, around half dies of starvation, with the most dying in the first 6 months after the establishment of the blockade.
If Gaza was ever starving, there would have been hundreds of thousands of victims of it, with pictures and videos of thousands of starving people and corpses.
Yet, nothing of this evidence ever existed. There're more pictures of Holodomor victims than of Gaza "famine" victims, desipe every single Gazan having a camera in their pocket.
Khers@reddit

It's literally the first paragraph in the sky news article.
https://news.sky.com/story/palestinian-girl-12-dies-after-suffering-from-malnutrition-for-months-13449071
HockeyHocki@reddit
Time and time again, unreal. Guess these stories don't have the same impact when major contributing factors are disclosed
juanlg1@reddit
How is celiac disease a major contributing factor to dying of starvation? How many celiac kids are dying of starvation in countries where there’s no famine?
HockeyHocki@reddit
Pretty basic stuff, she would not have died if she did not have coeliac disease, therefore it was a major contributing factor in her death
juanlg1@reddit
According to whom? She starved to death, that’s not a symptom of celiac disease
HockeyHocki@reddit
The article literally states she couldn't get the type of foods she needed. She needed those foods because of her condition. How are you not getting this
juanlg1@reddit
The article says people can barely get any type of food, let alone people with dietary restrictions. This means people are dying of starvation, and those with dietary restrictions are also dying of starvation but even faster (common sense). Conclusion: there is famine in Gaza which is causing people to starve to death; logically those with pre existing dietary restrictions will starve even faster. No celiac person is starving to death in non-famine conditions, so her condition is not relevant when talking about the existing famine.
HockeyHocki@reddit
Of course it's relevant, there's barely a shred of evidence people without serious pre-existing conditions are dying of malnutrition. The fact you think otherwise proves just how dangerous articles like this are.
juanlg1@reddit
There are a plethora of reports by the IPC, Lancet, UNRWA, UNICEF, Save the Children, Glia, WHO, IRC derailing conditions of famine in Gaza that are particularly affecting children. Not sure how one of the many victims of this being a celiac in any way diminishes these reports and the very clear evidence of deliberate starvation of Gazans by Israel
HockeyHocki@reddit
Do you see my denying there is starvation in Gaza?
juanlg1@reddit
So what point are you trying to make? That this girl died of starvation faster than other children because she’s a celiac? Is that it?
HockeyHocki@reddit
Like i said before my point was she would not be dead is she did not suffer from her condition, it was a major contributing factor.
juanlg1@reddit
Which is speculation on your part, given starvation kills people regardless of whether they have a pre existing condition. She might have taken longer to die, which doesn’t mean she wouldn’t have died anyway
HockeyHocki@reddit
her mother is clearly in perfectly good health, it's you that's speculating
juanlg1@reddit
And that refutes the well documented fact that the famine Israel has manufactured in Gaza is severely affecting children?
HockeyHocki@reddit

honest question. are you implying that starving kids with diseases is somehow better than starving kids without them?
Technical-King-1412@reddit
Honest answer. No, all children deaths are tragedies.
But if the only children dying during the 'famine' are those who are medically fragile or with pre-existing conditions, that undermines the famine narrative. Famine is pervasive, and affects everyone. If all the pictures and newsstories are of children who were sick or with special needs, it means that there isn't a famine. Shortages- yes. Hunger- yes. Those are not famine.
BDOKlem@reddit
whether or not there is a famine is not contingent on pre-existing medical conditions.

TeethBreak@reddit
And how exactly does one die from coeliac intolerance?
PartySr@reddit
"Her deficient diet and her deficiency of her special diet makes her more vulnerable to infection and makes her case deteriorate and health deteriorate rapidly."
Not only that Nazi Israel starved her, but they also blocked the medicine necessary for her treatment, and to go one step further, Nazi Israel denied her the chance to receive treatment outside of country.
From all of that, you're all focus was on the fact that she suffered from a disease, somehow that makes it better, not worse.
ProfessionalTalk482@reddit
I don't think starving her would help fighting the disease, and I don't think bombing the hostpital would also help
I wonder why you glossed over this pertinent fact?
layland_lyle@reddit
This is a fake news story, firstly look how well fed the mother is.
Unfortunately Huda, s six-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza, suffers from a rare chronic illness called pemphigoid (a debilitating autoimmune skin disorder causing constant blistering and ulcers) and severe malnutrition.
It's not a lack of food but due to a rare chronic illness.
One of the photos on the article has already been circulated and debunked a year ago.
