Cool affordable apts in east Plano?

My son and his roommate are looking to move out of their apt on Preston. Are there some good complexes in downtown Plano and north that aren’t too expensive? Right now they are paying $2200 total and that is too much for the roommate (even tho he insisted on their current apartment in the first place 🙄).

Check out Reserve at Spring Creek. It's a little farther south in north Richardson, but it's close to Plano. 2 bedrooms are going for around $1,800.00

Just had a friend move out of here. It was great for our weekly game nights, and they loved it. The only draw back was they lived on the third floor and had no elevator

Junction 15, depending on what size you choose. Very well managed according to my several friends who live there.

You could check the Murder Creek Apartments on park between Alma and 75, if you feel lucky.
