What would you say the top 3 most commonly served foods are in your area? Let me know what country too! I want to learn some Balkan recipes.

We often have vegetable stews. Fried calamari or sardines about once a week, plus some baked, fried, or braised meat dishes, and always plenty of salad with every meal.

I've made cevapi and sarma. They are very good. Do Paprikash and stroganoff get served in Serbia? My grandmother used to make those a lot too, and a ham and bean soup. Wondering if those were common in Serbian or if those are more Hungarian or Polish.

Belgrade
Fast food: pastries (burek, pita, kiflice), barbecue-meat (pljeskavica, ćevapi, karađorđeva šnicla) and non-Serbian ones (pizza, gyros, Chinese).
At home: sarma, goulash, prebranac, podvarak..
Sweets: bajadera, štrudle, vanilice

It depends on whether you're asking about fast food or home-style dishes. For fast food the top three are:
Pastries -- everybody eats those, things like tyrópita (cheese pie), bougátsa (sweet or savory pastry) and spanakópita (spinach pie)
Gýros or other grilled meats wrapped in a Greek-style pita or in a soft bread -- again, everybody eats it, it's the most common street food. In more southern parts of Greece gýros is also called souvláki, and in certain areas you'll hear it called "tylihtó"
Pizza by the slice
For home-style dishes the variety is too big, but I'd say most families are keen on:
Pasta in some shape and form, usually topped with minced meat or a red sauce and cheese
Laderá ("oily" foods), with lots of vegetables, herbs and olive oil
Legumes, mostly stewed
Meat and fish are also a big part of home cuisine.
