Hey Gen X, What’s your dream rock concert tour?

Remember that the tour shall have up to three to four bands that are headliners (two to three co-headliners and a main headliner) and two opening acts. The times when the doors open, when each opening act starts and end their set and when each opening act starts and ends their set, along the name of the tour and how the concert will be promoted (also tour dates if you want to add those).

Wednesday 13, The Misfits (with Danzig) and Rob Zombie. I’d add Manson to this show, but fuck that guy.
Fluid_Fudge_7238@reddit (OP)
I can see why you didn’t add Manson, since it’s probably due to the amount of women he abused over the last few decades.

This is mostly a wish list of my favorite artists I wish I could have seen
Dire Straits in their prime Cars in their prime Journey in their Escape lineup Chicago in their prime. Saw them a few years ago and they stuck to their 70’s hits. Which I love but still

Don't need a whole tour, jsut one show. David Bowe's Glass Spider tour was the best, and I'd love nothing more than to see it again with Duran Duran opening as they did before. His band featured Peter Frampton and Toni Basil did the choreography.
Since we want to make this even more unforgettable, lets bring in Iggy Pop as another opener, and the Eurythmics at the mid point. Have a couple guests perform, namely, Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury.
The_Burghanite@reddit
That’s the only time I saw Bowie. In Philadelphia the summer of 1987. I find that a surprising choice. I remember “Young Americans” and not much else. Wouldn’t you rather see him in the 1970s? Or even the “Let’s Dance” tour?
ranoutofbacon@reddit
It was the most elaborate concert I've ever seen, so much so, that other artists used it as an example of near perfection and inspired their own shows.
YouKnowWho_19@reddit
Openers: Godsmack, Volbeat and Halestorm
Co-headliners: Disturbed and Shinedown
Headliner: Metallica

I just want to go back ONE BAND PER VENU!! With an opener is fine. I’m so sick of festivals. It’s a lame. Ash grab. Tickets are so expensive that I can’t really bring my whole family. Also the bands play truncated sets, the audio/visual always sucks, and there’s little effort put into the performance. Sandwich that between half a dozen artists I don’t care about, overpriced terrible food I have to wait in line forever not to enjoy, and being out in the heat trapped at a venue I can’t leave and re-enter. Hard pass.
One band. One opener. One date.
Fluid_Fudge_7238@reddit (OP)
I can see why you commented what you commented, especially since that concert tickets are expensive as a film budget compared to fifty years ago.
joelav@reddit
I’ve been doing the festival thing for a few years now and it’s worn me down. I done. We (me and my high school/college age) kids go to a lot of shows. But we stick to single act venues now.
coffeeplease1972@reddit
Opening Acts: The Psychedelic Furs and OMD
Co-headliners: Duran Duran and The Police
Headliner: Depeche Mode
downtune79@reddit
These days it would be:
They art is murder and Fit for an Autopsy as openers then Vildhjarta as co-headliner and Meshuggah as headliner
An awesome show I saw in the 90s was monster magnet, machine head and pantera

I just want you to know that my recommendations for making a post like this include the fact that the tour shall have up to three to four bands that are headliners (two to three co-headliners and a main headliner) and two opening acts. The times when the doors open, when each opening act starts and end their set and when each opening act starts and ends their set, along the name of the tour and how the concert will be promoted (also tour dates). Have fun and make sure to include most of these in your comments.

Openers:
Marilyn Manson and White Zombie
Co-Headliners:
The Misfits and The Cramps
Headliner:
Alice Cooper
askywlker44a@reddit
Metallica for 3 hours. No opener. Every song they've recorded is played at least once on the tour.
