Would you guys help a Brazilian poor soul?!

I saved up my pennies for a year and a half to buy a processor and a video card.
To give some context:
From 2022 to 2023, I saved money and imported my PC piece by piece, but knowing that I didn't have money for a video card at the time, I opted for an integrated processor.
I ended up with a 5600g, B550M e-Wifi, 850w, 32gb Ram. And from then on, I saved money for the upgrade.
However, for 4300 reais (Yes, I'm from Brasil and this would be like 800USD), I bought a new GPU and processor. The store here in my city ripped me off. I lost the money, didn't receive any parts, and had to file a police report and go to small claims court to get my money back.
In this struggle, more than six months later, I no longer know which processor and card to go for. After all, prices and products change a lot in that time. I would like to know what you suggest and why you suggest it, so I can upgrade and finally be able to get the latest releases without having to play at minimum settings.

Insane anyone is suggesting a 9800x3d in this case. The x3d fan train is wild.
Guijust@reddit (OP)
So, basically, choosing this would mean buying a water cooler along with it out of obligation.
Ramongsh@reddit
For the 9800x3d a good CPU fan will do just fine. Water cooling is not needed.
But the 9800x3d is a high-end CPU, and you can easily do well with a much cheaper CPU.
A AMD 9600x or 9700x, or even a AMD 7600x or 7700x will all play all modern games.
YouR0ckCancelThat@reddit
I don't think so. I believe a good cpu fan will do. But I don't think that your motherboard is AM5.
Worldly-Ingenuity843@reddit
I have given up convincing people that they don’t need water coolers. Far too many people are convinced that you need to keep a CPU below 70 degrees or it will thermal throttle.
YouR0ckCancelThat@reddit
I personally use one, and I will probably always use one in my personal PC just because I think it looks cleaner. That being said, it is not always needed. I do not have one in my server PC, which is housed in a case with no glass.

Ikr? OP should wait for the 10800x3D that's launching next year instead.

Also from Brazil here are some discounted prices that usually appear on our market
9060xt 16gb, R$2700 5060ti 16gb, R$3000 5070 r$4000 (not recommended with ur current CPU)
I dont remember if 5600g=5600 but if that's the case I would just keep the CPU

Depends on your budget. as other suggested 9800x3d would be a huge upgrade but cost and availability might be an issue. Not to mention you would likely have to upgrade the system as am5 meaning new board, ram etc.
You can get the ryzen 9 5950x, 5900x, 5700x3d (more cache for gaming etc), 5800x3d, (pricey) the 5800x, 5600x.
As another suggested the 5600x3d is a good choice. If you can get one.
Card is the same depending on whats available and cost. your board, cpu will be able to run most newer cards. budget wise the nvidia an rtx 4060, 5060 maybe even 5050 or amd 6600, 7600, 9060xt 16g preferred are all "budget" choices.
Guijust@reddit (OP)
This 9800 option would cost more than $600 on its own when comparing prices, bearing in mind that what I have is equivalent to 800, there would be no options left for the GPU.
Horned-Beast@reddit
As stated if you used it, you would need to upgrade most of your setup.
My actual suggestion is one of the 5000 series I listed. Any one of those would be a good upgrade over that 5600g which is a really budget cpu. I would go with the 5800x3d or 5600x3d if you can get one. If not the 5900x and 5600x are decent alternatives.
greggm2000@reddit
Idk about non Western markets, but generally, any of the X3D AM4 parts like the 5700X3D aren’t available anymore at reasonable prices, bc they haven’t been made for some time.
Horned-Beast@reddit
Someone actually posted saying in his area they are available. Not sure either way. He would have to look hence I gave multiple choices. he would have to see what is there.
greggm2000@reddit
Available, sure, but at what price? You can easily get them in the US as well, it's just the price doesn't make any sense, not with the low cost of entry-level AM5 which is about on par in performance, yet gives you expandability options later.
Horned-Beast@reddit
True but he would need to switch to the AM5 platform. And that mans all new parts. Which given his post would be way out of his budget right now.
greggm2000@reddit
True, but all I was pointing out was that if he's considering Zen 3 X3D, it's probably not an option. Something like a 5600X could perhaps be worth it, though coming from a 5600G, probably not.

For the goal you have, ideally you want a 9800x3d with atleast a 4070 (or better).
Is that within the realms of possibility for you?
SpectroBR@reddit
Don't forget Brazil has the 5600X3D available in the local market, this way he can keep his MB and RAM unchanged. Depending on the resolution, he may even get away with a 8GB VRAM graphics card.
Guijust@reddit (OP)
I'm trying to avoid these 8vram options because I've already heard about some games that cause headaches because of this.
YouR0ckCancelThat@reddit
Can you get a 5600x3d and a 9060XT?
Evening_Ticket7638@reddit
That's good advice
