Anyone else got this on their door?

I'm in E. Plano, off Los Rios. Got this today and looked online but I couldn't find anything relating to underground maintenance. Anyone else get one? Was planning on calling Oncor on Tuesday, but that's what the work is expected to start. Thanks!

We got the same notice about a month ago (Spring Creek and 75 area). About a week later, the crew came and dug up part of our yard to repair lines. They came back again the next week to finish it. Both times they were fairly quiet and they cleaned up/ repaired where they dug fully. My husband talked to them and they said they're doing repairs all over Plano. Some lines they have to replace fully; others, like ours, they're able to splice in new lines.

Not in Plano, but we have similar work in our area for fiber upgrades. There is likely a utility easement that they can access to do work. I would take photos now documenting the pristine condition of your property. Then you need to watch them like a hawk and quickly raise any issues. We’ve had broken sewer lines and cut cables and yard damage. They have to fix it all but you sometimes need to chase them. Keep all their contact info and document when you raise issues.

^^^^Everything. Take photos and videos. Record all of your sprinklers working and verbally date the video and time when you record.
Spectrum showed up and dropped fiber in my neighborhood. Drop point is between me and another neighbor.
Neighbor a few houses down lost network from spectrum and they sent a bury crew to do a shit job. I pulled up the rest of the poorly buried cable and called to have them reroute the line. Turned out they ran a new line rather than fixing the line that was previously there that had conduit.

Good old spectrum! I believe Mastec may have been the sub. We didn’t have as many issues as some neighbors. But great suggestions above. Thanks.

Most welcome

Be careful. Watch your back.
They're coming after you

There is an excavator parked on Cibola for the last week, hasnt moved. It makes pulling out of the alley difficult to do safely. Saturday morning, Spectrum was working on the larger cable/internet box on Cibola, across tbe street from the excavator. We haven't received a notice or been contacted by anyone, but we didn't get notice on the alley replacement a few years ago.

Your home was a utility easement. Nothing you can do about it. It’s real.

Got one 2 years ago. They dug a huge hole in my yard and killed the grass.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted for stating your experience

They do that. Inconvenience of having utilities.

Most likely they are redoing an underground electrical line. Please leave your gate unlocked, put up any dogs or animals and be patient .

Hopefully this work goes faster than the sewer line re-lining that left us without the use of our driveway for almost 2 months.

They came to my door to let me know they were going to dig to repair an electrical line (near Parker and Alma). They leave these on your door if there is no answer. Fairly common.

I got a similar note but it was for tree trimming
