That's not totally true, there are ingredients in there designed to destroy the odor-causing molecules that bacteria produce. I'm unfortunately allergic to the aluminum compound in antiperspirants, so I've had to just go with the regular SpeedStick my whole life. Trust me, there's a bigger difference on a hot, sweaty day than can be explained by just the fragrance.

Exactly!!! I grew up in California and after PE we had to go change in a portable classroom (no locker room). If you’re from California, you know what that is. The most embarrassing part of the day was when I had to take my PE shirt off in a room full of post pubescent boys and me…scrawny skinny little me… would put on my deodorant then put my school shirt back on.

Even worse is if you didn’t put deodorant on after PE. The whole portable full of boys would know… you would absolutely get roasted
