Ooooo I think you’ve hit a fatal flaw! In my eyes a crisp sandwich is a sandwich which has had crisps added after making not during making, so the sandwich is cut before adding crisps. That way you avoid dulling your knife on sharp crisps

Nonononono! Each slice of thickly buttered bread must be stuffed with crisps whilst in the hand. Kinda like how you put yer sausage in yer hotdog roll. Then squeezed to minimise crisp shards. It’s the only way
