Eastern Wa camp trip

Finally hit some remaining routes in the Wenatchee Mountains last weekend (thurs-sun). The area offers awesome views and terrain, lots of wildlife (saw rattlesnakes, sheep/rams, deer, elk, coyotes, birds) and some of the routes have technical enough terrain to limit access to certain vehicles.

Hey OP what kind of cap is that ? Mind giving a quick review ?
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
It’s a leer 100XL. I’ve been happy w/ it but it’s nothing special. No paint issues in the 2-3 yrs I’ve had it. I ordered it carpeted, power lock, tilt out front window and roof rails.

Any leaking issues ? Support issues etc?
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
No leaking issues. I’m only going to be putting an ikamper mini up there (120ish lbs). I’m not concerned w/ weight, if she cracks I’ll cross that road later. I’m happy with it. I was looking at ARE evo topper but I think it was an additional 1200 bucks or so.

I’d love to know where you went - have been meaning to explore this area much more as it’s pretty local to me.

DMd you
short_and_floofy@reddit

Acrobatic_Giraffe236@reddit
Frenchman’s coulee. Love staying there after gorge concerts
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
Close. Other side of river.
Chadly16@reddit
Where did you get your camper shell from
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
A dealership in Tacoma iirc.
Chadly16@reddit
Thanks I've been trying to locate a place with good deals
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
I wouldn’t say it was a good deal but going rate for em at the time I bought it. Think it was right at 4k otd.
theyoungwest@reddit
I love out this way, would love for you to share which trails you were on!
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
Dmd you
marcanthony2800@reddit
Might have to take my jeep out there. 🫡
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
I believe some areas close down for elk migration / grazing in November so get in there. Even then there’s plenty to explore
outdoorsybum@reddit
What routes did you take? I’m headed that way in the next couple weeks
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
DMd you
patlaska@reddit
That’s awesome. I’ve always thought it’s a bummer that so much of eastern WA (especially central/scablands/palouse) is private land. I love exploring out there
AdAlarmed2781@reddit
I wanna go! Looks like a blast!
dont_shush_me@reddit
I’m surprised ground tents are even allowed on this sub. If you aren’t 6 feet in the air you’re on-land-ing, not over landing /s
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
I actually plan on getting one (rtt) 😂 but just recently moved so some things got put on hold. I slept just fine on the ground though.

Great pics!
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
Thank you, the scenery makes it easy.
dubloqq@reddit
What’s the lift/tire/wheel combo you got going on? Love that stance.
Reachable_dream666@reddit (OP)
285 Mickey Baja boss at on method 703s. Lift consists of Solo motorsports upper and lower control arms, Deaver u402 stage 2 rear leafs, and Ride Shocks by Accutune w/ adventure tune, with weight specific valving. Since things have settled a bit I might add 1-4-1/2” of preload in front, especially since I’ll be installing a winch and bumper soon.
It rides fantastic on and off road.

Love that color of the taco 🌮
