If you've bought something from amazon and you are unhappy with it but don't want to return it, you can talk to customer service via chat and ask for courtesy credit as compensation for your unhappiness. You can literally just ask "I bought this device and it is hard to use, can you give me courtesy credit as compensation?"

literally ask people who have done it, its either your account gets banned (if you sucked at doing it) or they refuse everytime

Yea I think it's like that too, I think u/Sweaty_helicopter549 is just lying and saying something opposing to get Internet attention without actually using evidence to back up his claims.

It's usually £10 for me. They will suggest an amount and you can ask "can you do xxx more?" They will check with their manager and give you a number. This method has no downsides because you are not lying, you are quite just literally asking them for free money because you're not happy with your product.
