South Korean military training video looks performative like the North Korean.
Temporary_Border7233@reddit
South Korea is such a weird country for weapons.
1950s style recoilless rifle on a jeep.
Modern panzerfaust
Veitnam era style grenade launcher technical
And modern toob

The mk19 is still used today attached to pretty much anything the m2 is.
TepacheLoco@reddit
fuck that one patch of ground in particular
juver3@reddit
It knows what it did
RamTank@reddit
Is that recoil on the panzerfaust or is the shooter just flinching?
marksman1918@reddit
Recoilless rifles... Aren't really recoilless.
Confirmed_AM_EGINEER@reddit
They are if you get your math right.
Looks like they did not.
RamTank@reddit
Generally they are actually recoilless, although it varies depending on which one you're talking about.
marksman1918@reddit
My experience is with the 84mm Carl Gustaff. And the drill of your number two giving you a hug while you fire keeps inexperienced gunners from getting moved too much as the projectile leaves the tube. And I'm sure having someone hugging you if you ever had to hunt a modern armoured vehicle with an unguided antitank weapon would be nice.
Hot tip, keep your mouth open. It helps with the weird air pressures from sucking the snot out of your head. The TBI is complimentary.

That tip is daily life tip. Especially if you fring big boom sticks if you dont want your ribs got snapped like twigs
CaptainofChaos@reddit
They're theoretically recoilless under optimal conditions. But you are never getting optimal conditions on a battlefield, or even in training.
OkRush9563@reddit
It just means less of it.
comradejiang@reddit
The round still has to leave the gun, and the propellant imparts force on it while it’s doing that.
Kalashinator@reddit
It's dropping like ten kilos of front-heavy weight in a fraction of a second, so there's going to be movement.
Numeno230n@reddit
And they really did all clap
Due-Gur-2208@reddit
Because maybe they're reservists and maybe those were the first time firing them?
I doubt you've done the same shit they've done and not slobber your keyboard with stale hot pockets.
Numeno230n@reddit
What the fuck are you talking about? Has nobody seen the "and everyone clapped" meme? All I said is they clapped and y'all are losing your minds.
V_van_Gogh@reddit
FR, it's a joke on the "they all clapped" meme, because ath the end of the video, just like u/Numeno230n said: "And they really did all clap"

Please understand. They are almost civilians and not professional warriors like you.
