I’ve seen a few on wayfair but their reviews are questionable lol

Look for refurbished as real office chairs are usually a lot better than cheaper versions. I’ve googled and found this one: https://theofficecrowd.com/products/senator-dash-fully-adjustable-task-chair-in-yellow-fabric-without-arms-refurbished?
Have a search around online, you can probably find others.

That is terrible. Not even an arm rest? Grab these at a car boot for £10.

Office chairs last longer. Home versions are only rated to be sat on for a couple of hours or so a day.

You can get office chairs with arm rest even with a foot rest. This is bottom of the barrel of office chairs.

I was just pointing out you can get them for under £100 refurbished, the link was literally the first one that popped up on google. OP doesn’t have to buy that one. 🙄

Someone here mentioned ergonomicchairfinder
they have some decent options under £100, and the reviews might help you sort through the questionable ones on Wayfair.

I got a half decent chair and desk combo on FB Marketplace for under £50. It is a matter of biding your time, having the cash ready and being able to go collect at any time.

I usually buy second hand as you get better quality that way.

Where do you find second hand? I’ve looked on fb marketplace but nothing

eBay, Gumtree, Vinted? Also local discount furniture and charity shops.

Try a charity shop like BHF the furniture one

If you need to sit on it for 8 hours a day buy refurbished professional office furniture.
If it's just for occasional use, you can buy cheap chairs from IKEA etc. But many of the cheaper chairs are not rated for more than 2 hours per day of use, so expect things like the cushioning to go flat or the material to wear out very quickly if you use it 10 hours all day every day.

IKEA maybe, but it's been a while since I bought one there and they've always been good
