To be fair, there was also a females love interest card that did the same thing. I miss playing this game, I used to run a really gnarly Borg deck in tournaments back in the day… had the whole thing set up for assimilation of earth and preferably doing it in the past to really screw with an opponent. Don’t think I ever actually pulled it off, mostly just won with faster objectives that scored less points while my opponent was focusing on trying to stop what they knew my big goal was going to be. The rules were definitely challenging though…
This set Q-Continuum, was the one that started really overcomplicating it. Not just one but two types of "side deck" introduced, and the Q cards were really unintuitive. I really wish they had just done Q Dilemmas, and left out the side decks.
I think it would be fun to try and make a game out of different card sets. Magic, Uno, you name it. Does a foil Charizard beat a straight flush? Everyone draw a Monopoly card to see how to proceed
There was a card in one of the old CCGs - I think it was Cyberpunk? - called "Copyright Infringement" that let you play a card from any other card game, counting the first two numbers on it as its attack and defense or something like that.
Yes, it's a real card, from Decipher's Star Trek Customizable Card Game, and the quote is from Q giving Riker Q powers. It's a victory point game, where you and your opponent is competing on victory points acquired from completing missions and overcoming dilemmas. This card is actually pretty bad, but funny.
As for the context of this with the OP's title, no idea.

Yes, but we lose good men to the furthest possible planet all the time in real life haha. I can't speculate whether women have the same issue.

The fun part is kinda winging it and making it your own. The original rule set isn't great.

This shot was edited out of UK broadcasts and I got a huge shock when I saw it on the bluray!

That sounds like the equivalent of drawing the small rock or fluffy bunny in that big bang theory episode.

I don't understand. Is this a real card. Where is the quote from?
What is the meaning behind this card and the post?
