What are your favorite cafes in the area?

I'm a big fan of the CAFE. Looking for a place where I can hang out for a bit, drink a coffee or simple cold cocktail and maybe eat a pastry. Preferably with outdoor seating. Thank you!

Check out Paris Baguette - It just opened a few months ago and it's pretty good. It's located at Parker and avenue k Northeast corner.

Great area to hangout. There's a gelato cafe, a good BN, a HPB, some rack outlets, grocery stores for snacks, etc

I've only hung out there a few times when my internet or power has gone out in the past couple years. I probably should go more often.

Love Mudleaf! Was just home visiting family and I was so charmed that I bought a shirt.

They have a sweet board of pre-paid coffees for people in need of a drink. It warms my heart and I hope they’re used 💚

Karmic grounds by 121/Ohio has a great dog friendly patio, good coffee and beer on tap! The view is a little bland (apts) but it is a good spot to sit, read or study!

Also enjoy mudleaf’s vibes, but no outdoor seating. Sweetwater’s coffee and tea in Richardson also has great pastries and outdoor seating that is a little more picturesque!

They currently do not serve alcohol at the moment, but this is my go to for good coffee and pastries and gelato.

I've been really enjoying Turbo Coffee and Pizza over at Coit and south of 15th. It's not quite a cafe but they offer coffee and cocktails. I don't think they have pastries but they do have a full pizza and pizza adjacent menu.

Cafe Hwasan is also really nice but the outdoor seating is limited.

They both have super great lattes.
