What’s the cheapest way to watch Champions League in the UK without taking a Sky bundle?

Trying to trim the sports bill without going back to a dish, Discovery+ has added a TNT Sports-only option and there are still the pricier TNT Sports & Entertainment bundles, plus NOW passes and Sky Stream promos muddying the waters, I mainly care about UCL (with the odd Prem match), don’t want a long contract, and I’m fine using my TV’s apps if it’s stable, If you’ve switched recently, what combo actually worked out cheapest and least annoying discovery+ TNT-only, TNT+Entertainment, NOW passes, or a Sky Stream promo? Any gotchas (streams, device support, ad-skipping, cancellation)?

Honestly I'm trying to figure out the same thing rn. The Discovery+ TNT-only option seems decent but I haven't pulled the trigger yet - is anyone here actually using it for UCL? Curious how stable the streams are vs NOW which I've heard can be hit or miss with quality dropping during big matches. Also wondering if going month by month with NOW passes around the knockout stages would work out cheaper if you don't care about the group stage as much?

And it needs to be stressed that they are exceptionally good. It's not some shitty hard to navigate interface with laggy weird broadcasts in the wrong language. They are easy to use and provide almost perfect streams for literally anything you would ever want to watch.

legally is either getting a monthly SIM from BT/EE that is £20 a month or more then you get it free or if you already have broadband or a SIM with them and you can add TNT for £20 a month or if you are with O2 you can add it as an extra for £26.99 a month

Discovery plus is free with BT internet, so if you swap to them, you should get it.

I found that BT internet with Now TV bundle gave me sky sports (For Prem, F1 and anything else I felt like) was the cheapest way to be able to watch the largest amount of sport.

Sky Sports doesn't have any of the broadcast rights to the Champions League matches in the UK. TNT Sports and Amazon Prime broadcast them. So you have absolutely no need to buy a Sky bundle to watch the Champions League games.

TNT Sports broadcasts the overwhelming majority of matches, whilst Amazon broadcast one or two matches a week.

TNT Sports is operated by Discovery+ and to subscribe via the app will cost around £30p/m. The amazon matches are included with a standard Amazon Prime subscription which is £8.99p/m.

Alternatively, get a find someone that does firestick subscriptions and pay for that. They can come in for like £50-£70 per year.

For fully legit methods: Discovery+ as an EE phone tariff addon works out much cheaper for me than standalone Discovery+ would.

Sky Sports through Now TV, with a reminder set on my phone to cancel it at the end of the season, then resubscribe when the ~half price offer appears at the start of the next season.
