As far as the plant, we had a lady at the company I retired from with plants on a shelf above a 3270-compatible terminal. She couldn't understand why the terminal wouldn't turn on after watering the plants.

Aww... that poor monitor. It makes a terrible looking planter.
You know what computer WOULD look good as a planter, though? A 2013 era Mac Pro. If you take the guts out of that one, the case is the perfect size for a mid size plant.

Two full height drives? Reverse image search says a CBM 8000, which it can't be as the decal goes there.
