What now? Student loan SOL

Hello,
It’s been 6 years now. The statue of limitation that I reside in is 6 years but the loans that it originated from is 5 years for SOL.
Although these loans were taken out with a co-signer. The co signer pass away.
I am still receiving phone calls from them. Am I really free from this debt? My credit has not change whatsoever. How long does it take before credit start going up?

Congratulations!! Since you passed the SOL, you can't be sued. Your credit score hasn't changed in the 6 years since you defaulted? That's really odd. It takes 7 years from time of default for it to fall off of your credit report.

Yeah it hasn’t changed at all just been at 600+…it moved a bit due to the federal loans borrower lawsuit. Private loan wise i haven’t seen any score increase. So it makes me wonder am I really past SOL.
