Hi, we are checking Montessori schools in Plano, TX area for our son in grade 4. Came across Archgate, Westwood in Addison and Alcuin (too expensive). Which one is better? How are PISD in Plano? We will be moving from Canada?

If you prize executive function and social emotional learning, Huffman public elementary is an IB World School with a certified primary years program. Great for our kids and open for school choice

My son is in a pricey daycare $1700-2000 and I’m going to probably put him in PISD. They have programs for gifted students and unique business programs that are tied to major corporations nearby. For example, if accepted to that program - your kid might be presenting to the CEO of toyota campus in Plano or a Chase bank exec, ect. I woulda LOVED that opportunity when I was younger.

Wow, that’s sounds great. We enrolled him in Montessori due to the principles and mixed age class rooms. My kid loves it. Thank you for thr details.

PISD is excellent. WRT Montessori schools, there are a metric crap ton of them in Plano. I respectfully suggest you do some more research.
