Why does my ebike keep turning off?

Started some months ago. I'm riding and all of the sudden the display stops showing the speed and it cuts off pedal assist.
Sometimes it comes back after 5\~10 seconds, sometimes i have to pull over, turn off the bike, remove the panel and mount it back. Any clues of what could be wrong?
My wife's ebike does the same thing but hers does it since brand new

Swapped the battery with my wife's and it still does it.
It also happens sometimes when I'm turning it on to start riding. It won't display the 0.0km/h until after some minutes (or i have to repeatedly power of/remove screen/mount screen /repeat)

That's probably your answer then.
Her's was fucked from day 1 and your's has just taken a while to catch up.
In all honesty, it could be 1 of 3 other things causing it. Either:
It's a bad display cable that needs replacing. This would be signified by the display turning off, but the battery staying on and the bike likely still providing motor power.
It's a bad battery cable. This would be signified by the battery also turning off seconds after the display and the motor turning off.
It's a bad controller. The symptoms for this are the same as the battery cable.
I would suggest a battery cable replacement first as this is usually the cheapest and easiest thing to do.
If you don't wish to spend any money right now, you can leave the lights on the entire time you're riding. This will likely keep the bike from turning off.

Здоров бро. Купил 2 месяц назад электровелик gestalt . Едешь такой довольный, и хуякс врубается прикинь. Дисплей горит, ни ошибку ничего не показывает. но не едет. Выключаю и обратно включаю, едет 30 секунд и обратна врубается. Думал из за морозы, нет бля щас тепло одинхуй так, з@еб@лся честно , чё посаветуете?

I always ride with the lights on. But from what you say it's probably a bad controller so I should start saving for a new bicycle /:

I would suggest trying a new battery cable first.
I'm an E-Bike mechanic and have to fix at least 3 bikes per week that have this same problem.
Putting in a new battery cable has fixed 95% of them.

Couple things.
Battery not seated all the way/ correctly
Dirty battery terminal and pins.
IF those 2 things are not the issue, start looking to see if the main power connector is plugged in all the way.

looks like your hitting the throttle limiter at 19/20mph..

Bought them in Europe a couple years ago and relocated to the USA. There aren't any shops in the area. Can't even buy a replacement Cube bicycle around here T_T
