Bosch Diagnostic Tool 3 for Smart System

Could someone provide a dongle for Diagnostic Tool 3 (the one that works with Smart System)? I read in another post that Bosch Diagnostic Tool 3 also works with a dongle – is that true or just a hoax? Thanks in advance for any help!

But as far as I know, the Diagnostic Tool 3, which is required for the Smart System, needs a Bosch SingleKey ID to log in. There’s no longer a dongle like with the old software that was used up to generation 4 (non-smart systems). If you already have the program, you’d probably need someone experienced in programming who could help make it work offline, without the login requirement.

u/No_Factor2277 here's a screen shot I took of video from a facebook group I think you'll find interesting, the chap is using the Bosch Diagnostic Tool 3 version 17.8.6 , if you look closely you'll see it says offline and dongle is connected, I'm assuming the dongle is something like a USB YubiHSB device with a root certificate installed. The chap is able to change the region of the bike to the US and that allows the speed limit to be set higher i.e. 32kph.

no crack only thing you do is change the byte and then it starts as oem! but neverworks no need crtificate only aes key!

I would expect that there is no “newer features” in it. But i would be interested to see where you got so far, i’m trying to read firmware from gen4 spc56 microcontroller.

Yes, it’s really interesting. So it seems that’s how it is — I’ve actually read from others too that there’s an offline version and a dongle for it, but I thought they were mistaken. I’ll keep looking into it as well. Good luck to you too! If I find something, I’ll let you know!

Smart system needs single key id to work Thats basically an account with Bosch that you have to login to be able to use features.

the tool is free but service can use IBD version.the companies can use OEM version both of free but you have to be eBike dealler or certificate service or the werehouse
