Got fired because colleagues talk about my wage?

It is, indeed, a communication about pay, and the employees communicating about it are likely protected from retaliation for it. However, as noted, OP is not one of the people communicating. Had OP engaged in any of these conversations--even just to the extent of declining to discuss his wages--he would be a party to the conversation and likely protected. However (at least, based on what he has said here) he did not. Unless OP happened to get **extremely** lucky and have a **very** favorable judge assigned to a hypothetical case, there is almost no chance this even survives summary judgement. > I'd talk to a lawyer This is never bad advice, and consultations are often free. However, in this case, during the consultation, OP will learn the bad news: that the attorney will not take his case, because the chances of a successful suit are low.
