Worth upgrading to a 5080 right now?

I am currently using a 4070 Ti Super so this wouldn't be a huge upgrade, but I'm tempted to do it anyway now that you can find 5080s reliably at MSRP.
I can sell my current card for $650 in profit, so looking at \~$400 for an upgrade after tax. I am playing at 4K which is my primary reason for wanting more performance. 4070 Ti Super struggles a bit on newer AAA games and you need to really lean into DLSS and frame gen to keep framerates decent.
I am aware that 50 Super series is likely releasing in the next few months, that's one of the main reasons I am debating on holding off on an upgrade. My fear though is that 5080 Super will end up being more expensive (maybe $1200) and might take forever to be able to find at MSRP, like mid to late 2026. By waiting for a Super I could be pushing off an upgrade by an entire year potentially.
What would you do in my situation? I "settled" on a 4070 Ti Super last year and have been wanting more performance at 4K ever since.
