Sigh, I suspect it’s more likely they were NOT boasting bc (turning your point back at you) *if you understood the British psyche you’d know it’s not something we do*, and thus their likely meaning was referencing the classic Sid James line from the film: “they don’t like it up them”. And thus - to explain British humour to you - that they were being self-deprecating about their sex life… but missing the fact or forgetting that Khyber Pass is slang for arse (and therefore that it *could* ambiguously be understood to mean that they were boasting that they get anal sex.). So the fact you think it refers to the latter suggests YOU don’t actually get British humour or psyche and probably weren’t aware of the film’s classic line 🤷‍♂️
