My E-bike’s speed is stuck at 16 miles per hour

I have an amyet s8 e-bike and the speed when from 32ish to stuck at 16 no matter the mode it is in. I am wondering if anyone knows how to fix this.

I have the same bike and had the same issue. I believe that when you turn the bike on, hold the power button and the brake simultaneously for like 15 seconds. It will switch back to the regular mode.

I accidentally entered this mode on my bike when I powered it on with someone else sitting on it. They had the brakes held in while I turned it on and then explained them how to ride it. I had no idea it was in "limp mode" until I got on it and started riding, then I was baffled lol.

Yeah this most-likely is the issue, although you don't have to hold the power button. You start by holding the brakes, then power on like normal, while keeping the brakes held for 15 seconds.

Yeah, lmk if it works for you! It's a mode selection to toggle a limiter for places with regulations, I believe.

I’m in United States it used to go 32 now it’s stuck at max speed 16
