Malaga stag do (chilled) suitability?

Looking to see if Malaga is suitable for a stag do end of May.

Yes we will be drinking but we don’t want the trashy Benidorm vibe. We want beach clubs, more relaxed but lively bar hopping along the beach and into the city center.

Is Malaga a good destination for this, would appreciate any info?

We went to Alicante instead 10th - 13th of April.
Depends what you're after, we explored the old town, went go karting, crazy golf, beach, beers..
Would recommend!

You can definitely get this in Malaga. There are a few strips down by the sea (beach and closer to the port) that hasvge a bunch of bars that are quite nice and more chilled than trashy. You can then walk up into the old town where there are loads of great places to eat and drink.

It's actually a really nice city and I would definitely recommend it. If you fancies and excursion, you could hire a car and head up to Ronda which is pretty cool.
