Looks like we're both also running a running a topper-lift. It's the eighth consecutive night tonight and I have yet to raise it.

😮 you are? I always raise mine I'm too close to the roof otherwise. I also have room to somewhat stand and walk down the side of my bed when it's up. Good for moving around, changing and getting in and out.

I love my slumber Jack. Set up is longer than a roof rack awning but packs down smaller. First time I used it was on a hunting trip that I ended up in sideways rain and stayed dry. Just get some long lag screws that you can put in the ground with a battery impact drill and setting up guy lines is super quick.

I'm sure the pooch was pleased about this. 😊

I think snow is his second favourite thing, he's an Alaskan husky.

Good luck! I did the Billy Diamond last year and the Trans-Labrador this year. Will do Trans-Taiga soon I hope.

Thanks!

I want to do the Trans-Labrador, pulled some TDY to Goose Bay back in the late 70’s

What's the longest distance between fuel on the taiga? I might be doing it last minute early this October.
truenorthzero@reddit (OP)
Sorta depends if your last fuelling was north in Radisson or at KM-381 on St. James Bay Road. The Mirage outfitter on Trans-Taiga is at KM-388 I believe. Tank has about 25L left at KM-300. Last fill was in Radisson, 6.4l hemi, 6 speed, 4:10.
