Australia is big enough for all! Its amazing the range of their ecological areas and the different planes they use. I like using flight radar down there.
I knew Tasmania had this sort of terrain, but have never heard it called the Australian Alps. That said, I really know next to nothing about the place.

Bruh I didn’t know mountains with snow on top existed in Australia. 💀

Snowy mountain in the south, Tropical forest in the north, sub tropical in between the two. And, a massive desert to the west.

As well as the Australian Alps, the entirety of Tasmania is wet and green and regularly gets snow on the highlands. It's not all red dirt desert.

I've read Austrian Alps and was a little bit confused at first.

So south Wales got a new ambulance and took it to Australia?
Oh...
VirginiaDare1587@reddit
Why do you have aircraft painted white doing rescues on snow?
Hard to spot if overcast. Hard to spot from accompanying aircraft. Hard to spot against snow if it goes down in the snow.
It’s an elegant paint scheme and harks back to the convention of painting ground ambulances white.

Oddly enough the air ambulances further north in New South Wales would be more appropriately coloured for the snow.

Not a huge amount, but we have ski resorts in NSW and Victoria.

I like that this post, in a sub celebrating the machines that made the world smaller than it has ever been, is now about how Australia gets snow. 😆
