I’m very impressed! And I impress easily. Bone apple beets!
Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
I’m not that impressed. He used a small pot on a gas stove and then was shocked when the hanging spaghetti pieces caught fire from the live flame they were drooping on. Sheer stupidity.
Slight_Appearance246@reddit
Found the funnest person at the party!
slayalldayerrday@reddit
More like we found the one smart person there to hang out with.
creatyvechaos@reddit
Didn't realize we went to parties to one-up each other.
arealhumannotabot@reddit
I’m gonna need a flow chart and diorama to understand this
Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
arealhumannotabot@reddit
Wtf is this
Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
It’s a gas stove. Very common. Even in the USA (I live there). Great for cooks to use.
arealhumannotabot@reddit
Oh my god. You really are a dumbass.

Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
This is a gas stove that makes flames to heat the pots. The spaghetti caught on fire because it dropped directly into one of said flames.
arealhumannotabot@reddit
I’m too entranced by that blue shit to understand anything you just said
Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
Are you high or something? I hate talking to potheads, it’s like talking to a toddler with a severe head injury.
arealhumannotabot@reddit
Wait are you not taking the piss?
Dyxe66@reddit
I could do that.
jeesuscheesus@reddit
Add tomato sauce and congrats, spaghetti alla assassina!
presidentkokoro@reddit
That is a BIG somehow
Yestomorrow@reddit
"somehow"
SillyOldBillyBob@reddit
Its a mystery how it happened. Nobody can explain it.
Kingdomall@reddit
I'm hoping people aren't stupid and that everyone does know how but is joking around lol
puaha@reddit
Well we all know it was because he used too much garlic clearly idiots...
YakElectronic6713@reddit
I'm not very optimistic about that lol. Some people are really clueless and incompetent. I know a few of them.
drafted1985@reddit
It could be the age
Icy-Mix-3977@reddit
That's what I said clearly past the expiration date.
stuffedbipolarbear@reddit
Tide comes in, tide goes out. You can’t explain it.
Holly1010Frey@reddit
Maybe one day science will be able to explain. For now all we have is 'heated' debate. On an unrelated note, anyone know how marshmallows get toasted?
PhoenixPhonology@reddit
Gravity
TheKerfuffle@reddit
Idk man, it’s a mystery.
Ok_Yesterday_1896@reddit
Has anyone figured it out yet I’ve been trying to understand this absolute phenomenon for 2 hours and I can’t come to any conclusion ?
Gold-Transition-3064@reddit
I’m concerned you’d probably starve if you were completely left to your own devices
HazardTree@reddit
Ik you had to throw it all out. Burnt pasta and burnt rice are two of the worst foods to burn. They burn even a little and the smell/taste cooks into all of it. And the smell/taste is awful.
Timely-Cry-8366@reddit
Somehow…Uh… the cause of the spaghetti burning is right in this pic. Are you perhaps stupid???
Constant-Still-8443@reddit
I may be stupid. Is there a flame or something I'm somehow missing?
abcdef_guy@reddit
The flames from the gas burner burnt the spaghetti while it was sticking out of the pot
Constant-Still-8443@reddit
They got that shit on blast or what? I've never had that happen when making spaghetti.
OGBRedditThrowaway@reddit
When the lower half of spaghetti softened in the boiling water, it caused the top half to hang down low enough to to be ignited by the gas burner.
Krusty_Krab_Pussy@reddit
It's sarcasm
Honodle@reddit
If you break the pasta in half or in thirds you could avoid this.
thoughty5@reddit
If you still think you "somehow" burned it, then hopefully people aren't letting you anywhere near....anything
Maximum-Bake-6092@reddit
Hmm perhaps the water needs to come to a boil first?
Jizfaceboi@reddit
Maybe wait like less than 90 seconds to make sure all the pasta gets into the water. 😂
Do y’all not stir your pasta periodically?
Doppelthedh@reddit
Break your pasta first, duh
HamJaro@reddit
You're forever justified to break it in half now
siraliases@reddit
I started this way too
Made pork belly potatoe croquettes last week after a long time of failing at the basics
The best chefs have failed a million times
cmstyles2006@reddit
Why is none of it in the water ToT
Bone_Wh33l@reddit
I did the same thing last month lol. Used a pan that was too small, for pasta that was too long, on a hob that was too big, with the flame up too high. To be fair to myself I was very high at the time
Kalinda33@reddit
On what…? LSD?
Bone_Wh33l@reddit
Bruh, I’ve watched people burn pots of beans and soup completely sober. It doesn’t take something that strong to stop paying attention to your pasta long enough that the side of the pan gets hot enough to ignite it. (It was weed)
Geekenstein@reddit
Well, you shouldn’t be allowed to cook when you’re two. But kudos on your writing abilities at that age!
Kalinda33@reddit
Lol! I know: I am on Reddit. I should elaborate. I just can’t right now. Sorry. 😞
Kalinda33@reddit
Don’t travel to Italy for a while. You might be on the ‘most wanted’ list for pasta jail. 🥺
DarthJackie2021@reddit
Is this better or worse than just breaking the pasta in half?
Kalinda33@reddit
Well…breaking the pasta is bad. But at least it would have survived.
To honest: I don’t think the Pasta Jail Court, ever had a case like this before. So, don’t know. 🤨🧐🤓
New_Physics_7855@reddit
This is a tragedy.
CanineFive@reddit
Probably because you left them in there for two years aging while being cooked
last-of-the-mohicans@reddit
Are we to believe this was two years ago? My guess is last night was date night and you ended up ordering pizza.
Any-Beginning1808@reddit (OP)
it was :^
Any-Beginning1808@reddit (OP)
ah shit i meant 2 years ago 😅
TCristatus@reddit
At least they didn't snap the spaghetti
Moriaedemori@reddit
Amateur.
I managed to burn steamed dumplings
omgdiepls@reddit
You have a gift. It's not very helpful, but you have it.
faeaer1@reddit
you were only two years of age? proud of you bro
Light_inc@reddit
I did that, it tastes very much like burnt bread, which makes sense.
ionised@reddit
Yes. Somehow.
ahriqua@reddit
uhh, never thought you can Fock up pasta lol
Traditional_Ebb_1379@reddit
achievement unlocked
loosewilly45@reddit
Lots of people make that mistake on gas stoves. Hell ive done it....and charred s few wooden spoons.....I dont wanna talk about it
Lolbzedwoodle@reddit
that famous viking eagle torture
giyomu@reddit
I am completely out of idea. Would be easier to divide by zero rather than taking on this case.
mearbearcate@reddit
Bro has one of those burners, thats def how lol
Yoyo524@reddit
It’s because the pasta is in direct contact with the pot
OGdirty1Kanobi@reddit
Looks like some kinda fish or sea creature
sizhuii@reddit
Do people not stand and supervise their food the whole time. I’m too anxious to leave the food alone
TheTaintBurglar@reddit
It looks like it has two black eyes and a black beard, kinda cute
BenjaminDover02@reddit
This is the kind of shit I usually end up seeing whenever grown ass adults ask me to teach them how to cook smh.
h0neanias@reddit
CookiesandContraband@reddit
My mom made the Thanksgiving stuffing explode one year.
Mickamehameha@reddit
Your cooking license is revoked forever.
sasquatch753@reddit
Probably was playing with the burner and set the pasta in fire(which is suprisingly flammable).
Chemist-3074@reddit
I used to think pasta is fire proof. I am very surprised to know that they burn.
Shows you a half sketch of fire fighters wearing pasta armour before going inside a burning house
trudedonson@reddit
How ??
Maksilla@reddit
How it happened will remain a mystery forever.
Firegasoline@reddit
Not approved!!!
lemonloth@reddit
Just embrace it and grate some charcoal on it.
reincarsonated_benzo@reddit
No wayyy 😂💔
