Getting hired and getting through training are totally separate things.
Getting hired is nothing more than grinding out hours. It sucks, but it is what it is. Keep resumes/applications/updated, keep a clean driving record, be a good employee.
Getting through training is doing nothing more than studying what the instructor tells you to study. I’ve seen folks come into training after going over material they found on their airplane online, only to relearn everything because what they found is not what the company wants them to know. Cooperate to graduate.
