When you were a child, was there a concert ticket your parents wouldn’t get you that you still hold a (small) grudge over?

Note: When I say “grudge” I don’t mean requiring therapy or going no contact with your parents over, but an annoyance. There are a number of reasons a parent can say no (finances, travel, school, might not be age appropriate etc. that are completely valid) I seen online that Hilary Duff, the former Disney Channel star is making a new album. I was a Disney Channel addict growing up and loved her (Even if she wasn’t a generational vocalist or live performer). She announced a tour in my city in 2005/2006. I begged and begged but my parents wouldn’t relent and I didn’t get to go. It’s not therapy inducing but I’m still sad I didn’t go because I would’ve loved it. Fear not, my music taste has marginally improved since then. Later, as a teen my parents wouldn’t take me to Lana Del Rey because “she’s too depressing” - and ever since I’ve missed her because there’s always been something else on (an exam, a holiday etc.) so still haven’t had the chance. Out of sheer interest, what did you miss out on and are you still a little mad about it?
