This is the best DIY mod I've seen: https://www.reddit.com/r/rooftoptents/comments/1myzecg/diyd_a_diesel_heater_port/

Keep in mind that even the smallest diesel heater will keep things very hot in that small volume. Don't forget to vent out some of the heat.

Copy, i think my tent always has vents open at the top. I’ll test for sure.

Attach the hose to your door with the zipper. There are also attachments for it if you want to buy one.

Yeah I’ve seen those and I’ll probably do that. I’m concerned with it being too hot on one side of the tent. Probably shouldn’t concern myself with such a small volume.
I was thinking of installing a permanent inlet in the floor by drilling a hole, I have space by my feet. But then I’d have to deal with sealing it up in the warm months

The diesel heater fan blows hard enough that you won't get hotspots in one part of the tent. Drilling anything would not be my recommendation.

Sounds good, thanks!

Just run it through a door or window zipper. No special mods needed
