AutoPilot not working - How to Diagnose?

Can anyone tell me the best way to diagnose a new PC not detecting AutoPilot. I uploaded the hash a couple of weeks ago, and when i switch on the PC which is already connected to the network via LAN cable, it just goes through the normal boot process. I've done several clean reboots via command line, still not working. Even tried re-uploading the hash (This has worked for me in the past) I had the same issue the other day, gave up on it, came back later in the day and tried again and it worked. Once it works, it's great, but this seems to happen to me more often than not, so maybe it's something i'm doing wrong. So i'm interested on what everybody else does to troubleshoot when this happens to you?

Did you enable the device? Go to autopilot devices, click on the device and go to the azure AD device. Click the "Enable" option with the blue check. Let me know if it worked.

Maybe worth checking out the below known issue. In Windows 10 April and some May update releases, there's an issue where the Autopilot profile may fail to apply to the device and the hardware hash may not be harvested. As a result, any settings made in the profile may not be configured for the user such as device renaming. To resolve this issue, the May (KB5015020) cumulative update needs to be applied to the device. i mean lots can be wrong now, this isn't very detailed on what is occurring but if the device is missing network connections or is blocked by firewall it wont apply profiles. if you see the record in intune and a profile applied make sure it can communicate with the itune mgmt

No Firewall, how do you check if it can communicate with inTune management?

no firewall means everything is unblocked, no test needed. unless you run a pi hole or DNS filtering.

Have you confirmed a deployment profile is assigned to the autopilot record?

Remove the registration from Intune and the device from AAD and try again. I've had old records in AAD break AP.

It's a brand new pc though, I switched it on a couple of weeks ago just to get the autopilot hash (from the OOBE with usb method) then uploaded the hash.

Are you sure it is running Pro and not Home? Home will not provision via Autopilot.

I’d delete the device and reupload the hardware hash. I’ve seen this before…
