Where did this come from? It makes me inappropriately angry. Particularly if it's just the person reading the text of an article in the background

A lot of people intentionally write that they don't own the content. An IP lawyer told me that's the worst thing you can do because then you are pointing out that you intentionally took something copyrighted that you know doesn't belong to you. That can be used as evidence against you if you actually get sued.

I hate this too, especially when they’re pointing over their head. It’s lazy content, nothing to add so will steal other peoples. It’s not so bad when it’s a stitch and the stitching person has something more to add that wasn’t included in the original.

It’s just as bad as the ones where people do the split screen and record themselves laughing watching the video.
