How was Season 8 drawn/animated?

I know the coloring is digital by that point, but are the outlines drawn on paper and scanned in or was it done directly on a tablet in ToonBoom? I honestly can't tell.

This was the age where companies were transitioning into puppet animation for their cartoons, but many shows like Family Guy were still (and still are, I think?) being hand-drawn, just outsourced to other countries and/or studios, and considering how much MTV believed in this season; I doubt it wasn’t hand-drawn, just in a different way if that makes any sense. However, in the new series you can definitely tell it’s puppet animation

Honestly I think the last hand drawn cartoon was Ed Edd n Eddy

There were a few after that still did traditional lining I think.

It was probably ToonBoom if I had to guess. The animators obviously didn’t use a puppet rig back then like they do with the newest seasons but there’s a feature to sketch images and likely cleaned it up before coloring each frame

It may have even been animated the same way King of the Hill was if anyone knows how that show’s episodes were made
