Currently for sale on Barnstormers.
I'm still trying to figure out what it started from. I'd wager a guess as its a pacer variant.

"152, are you still in there?"

I kinda like it to be honest.
If everyone in this thread pitches in checks notes a lot of money, we can buy it

Maule?

Murphy Rebel?

I don't think so - the shape of the door opening and the construction of the tailcone doesn't match up.

Lycoming, believe it or not

It's a Moss Elvin/Aero Structures model 2. Whatever that is. My guess is it is a one off built by someone who wanted to build an airplane.
Definitely not a Pacer variant as it is all metal and the tail isn't from a Pacer.

I think the fuselage is most reminiscent of a Cessna 120 (or else a 140 or early 150 with changes).
The vertical stabilizer looks like an early Cessna 150, as does the wing strut, and I don't recognize the rudder.
As for the landing gear, that looks completely custom.

Or Luscombe T8F vertical stabilizer and rudder
workahol_@reddit
You know, it's a good guess but I don't think so, look at the hinge points and stabilizer leading edge on a real T8F tail for comparison. Also this one is aerodynamically balanced which I don't think the Luscombe is.

I'd like to know what model 1 looked like.
RockstarQuaff@reddit
Looks like an airplane nymph stage. All head and eyes, the rest of the body still needs to grow.

I love planes that look like the ones in my aero textbook
