First thing that comes to mind is the crazy vending machines, especially the ones selling used underwear. I could also see them getting a laugh over the way they pronounce "city". Probably get served an elegant kaiseki meal and say "what is this crap...uh do you have nachos?" Probably see sushi and say "this sucks...they didn't even cook it".

One is your first vehicle which gave you a taste of freedom and you had great times with your friends in even if the climate controls didn't work, the speakers sucked, and you often had to fix something but at least you could work on it. The other is what you buy when you are much older so you appreciate the power windows, flawless sound system, tire pressure sensors, and although it's far more reliable the smallest problems could difficult and/or costly to fix because they don't make them like they used to.

Anybody else notice they're largely the same plot? Two incredibly stupid people have government agents tracking them who assume they're criminal masterminds bc they always dumb luck their way into eluding them? It's not really an approach any of the episodes ever used. I guess you have to do that to fill a 90 minute movie and not have it get stale after 30 or so.

They’re both perfect. Do America is a self contained movie bearing little to no continuity. Do the universe is the bridge between the classic series and the new one, and expands the b&b world. The shot of all the b&b’s in the stadium might just be the single greatest frame in history.

Do America by a mile. The new movie has its moments but it’s the same vibe as the revived show currently airing. Feels very off, the context for the boys to live in is also off, the digital animation is very wack (same as with the new KoTH) and the writing is also very bad as per jokes and how they portray the boys.

i need to rewatch the second one. i had covid when i saw it and i was just fucking dead tired, the only thing i remember about it was a funny ass white privilege scene and a fantastic usage of black sabbath’s “children of the grave”. other than that, i remember feeling like it was good, but a B- if “do america” was an A+.
