Good, non-slimy Dallas Injury Lawyer?

Hello DFW,
TLDR: Wife injured on Dallas airport Skytrain, and we need a competent Dallas attorney with integrity.
On a recent trip to the Dallas airport, my wife, family and I were on the Skytrain. It was very, very crowded...and then we got to a stop, and became much more so - dangerously crowded. One of the skyhops pushed a lady in a wheelchair (a very large wheelchair), and this displaced quite a few people, who crowded around the vertical pole my wife was holding on to. Strangely, in the back of the train and the front, there are only vertical poles and not horizontal poles like for most of the train. Anyway, just as the train was about to stop, it went around a curve, which caused the people to shift positions, and briefly knocked my wife's hand off the pole. At that exact moment, the train came to a surprisingly sudden, very lurching stop, and - as she had momentum from the curve and the people displacing her from the pole - she rocketed to the back of the train and hit her head so loudly that I, at first, thought the train had run over something. Ultimately, medics were called, and she spent time in a hospital, and is still struggling with severe post-concussion symptoms today, weeks later.
We are not local to Dallas, living in California, and I have zero experience in choosing an attorney or pursuing a lawsuit. We don't want a slimy attorney, but somebody with integrity that is also good at the job. Does anybody have any recommendations? Thank you!

I interacted with this guy often when I was working in DFW, we were often at the same dockets. He's a good lawyer and I learned quite a bit from him. I have referred him to others often and never heard a complaint.

I’m a plaintiff’s attorney in Dallas. Happy to (potentially) assist. Feel free to shoot me a DM.

Bob Kraft is a cool guy, although I believe he might be semi-retired. I'd have to assume his law firm is pretty good, but I've never used them.

Probably should delete the story part of this
lightthenations@reddit (OP)
I can do that - can you give me a brief rationale? Thank you!
omar_strollin@reddit
If it’s going to be part of a legal case, you don’t want anything other than and about that might hurt your case…
mclewis1986@reddit
This sounds like spoliation to me.
omar_strollin@reddit
In what way?
mclewis1986@reddit
OP wrote out a narrative of the event then deleted it.
In their eventual Initial Disclosures, they'll be required to provide any "witness statements" which, among other definitions, are "written statement[s] signed or otherwise adopted or approved in writing by the person making it."
OP then deleted a witness statement that Defendant would be entitled to under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. OP will also likely not disclose its existence. If discovered, I would ask for a spoliation instruction.

This is absurd. I’d be happy to show the post on Reddit in trial and will certainly mention it to a lawyer. I just took the story part out because somebody suggested it was a good idea. I actually copied it and emailed it to myself so I would have it for posterity. No intent to destroy evidence.
mclewis1986@reddit
If a stranger on the internet suggested that shredding documents and burning your clothes was good for your legal dispute, would you do that too? He literally said "you don’t want anything out and about that might hurt your case…" He literally said the content of the post might "hurt your case" and you, in response, deleted it to scrub the contents from the internet.
As I said, the irony of impugning the dignity of attorneys while tampering with evidence is great.
omar_strollin@reddit
Sounds like OP would just need to disclose this post then to avoid that, no?
mclewis1986@reddit
They should talk to their future attorney about it.
omar_strollin@reddit
I would agree with you there.

Okay, will do. Thank you!

I had Deon Goldschmidt attorneys. Very good and responsive. Not slimy by my standards very by the book. Had it for when an underinsured motorist sideswiped me.
DonkeeJote@reddit
Why would you want an injury attorney with integrity?
GustavusAdolphin@reddit
It goes both ways. An attorney without integrity doesn't serve the primary interest of their client either.
Like sure, if you're looking for a payday and have no issues with going through the ringer, go with a Jim Adler or TJH. You'll be a cash cow and be treated as such

I'm a PI attorney in Dallas with a firm based out of CA. Feel free to message.

I'm Jim Adler, the Texas Hammer. I've been hearing that ad on TV and the radio for 30+ years. I guess his firm is pretty successful at personal injury lawsuits since they are still around. I think Jim is pretty old at this point and just runs the company. I've zero experience with him, but just wanted to repeat his advertisement as it has been stuck in my head for decades.

Looks like he is still doing TV ads, lol

Do you know any decent attorneys in California? Cause I'd bet my bottom dollar that they know at least 2 or 3 attorneys practicing in Texas and would be more than happy to make a referral
