This tweet says he was beheaded in front of both his wife and son. After which the attacker kicked the severed head around in a parking lot and then threw it in a dumpster. What an incredibly brutal and sad end to someone. And how terrible for his family, who not only have to live without him but also have this horrific memory. We need a two strikes law.

The killer was an undocumented immigrant most recently in ICE custody. I’m surprised this hasn’t blown up into a bigger story since it plays right into the right’s anti-immigrant narrative. I guess the Charlie Kirk story has taken up all the air in the room.

Tragic and unnecessary. Doubly tragic that crimes like this will be used unfairly to justify prejudice against all immigrants.
