You gotta post pictures of that I can’t figure out how it would snap w no torque on it. Even at full spool a sudden stop is just that …. A sudden stop bend yes. It snap 🤯 when my garret went the shop went on and on about how bad it was I think so they could keep and rebuild it I went brand new anyways so they kept it anyways 🤷🏽‍♂️

You need to pull your intercooler and flush it THOROUGHLY. Also, boroscope each cylinder and check for debris that can score your cylinders or colide with valves. Thoroughly clean the intake and charge pipes. Turbine shrapnel can make it all the way through the engine and exhaust, so keep an eye on your DPF, too.
